Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... It’s probably not so much the fact that OP had dissatisfaction with quality of the car, or even that they reached out to Kia to address their concerns. It’s the dramatization and exaggeration that this unfolded into.
In regards to ignoring this thread, I’d have to say there is no such thing as ignoring posts/threads in a forum. If you post an opinion or thought into a public space, you have to be ready for the public responses that will follow. The OP can always block forum members they no longer wish to hear from, but it is sounding like that would require blocking half the active users on this forum.
