I need advice on what to do next !

I placed my order on July 20 for EBONY BLACK SX AWD with towing. I have been the one to reach out to the dealership each time to get an up date. They called me once on October 14 to tell me my pick up was to be Nov 11. I called them on Oct 28 just to see if we were still on track. They call and left me a message that the date changed to Nov 25. When I called them to see why. She blamed the KIA Plant (KMMG) for every thing. Such as shouting down for 2 weeks, (said this one twice) not been able to keep up. Yes this has been some of the reason, but I told her I get the fact that all that plays a part in it and you cant know when the driver is going to get in the truck and deliver the car. I get it. Here is my problem the way she talked to me was rude, talked over me, and just keep making up reasons. What I told her was that I was fluster with the lack of commutation from them. just call once every 2 weeks to say hay no new word would be ok with me. Then she went in to we called you 4 time. ( they were return call that I left a message) I even think she put the phone down at one point because I stopped talking and it was silence for a few seconds. She then got her sales Manager on the phone and oh my what an a**. He told me I can give you your money back! ( 3times) I told him the same thing I was just flustered with the commutation from them. He went on and on not evening letting me say anything. Now I am very upset now. I finely said just lesson call me when my car is in and I will not call you at all . I feel they should be wanting me happy they ate getting 40K from me. Why piss me off? I would be even willing to wait another 4 months to just not deal with them again. But they will still get the sale on the car no loss to them and I don't want that, and I am so close to getting my Telluride. Do I call the General Manager or e-mail everyone at the Kia corp. office. Or do you have other Ideas. Help
 
First. Breathe. Second, could you hit the enter key every once in a while. Reading a block of text just gets people to stop reading 3 lines in. Just once in a while.

Ok. Now, lets talk times. I was told June 20th, at the latest. I laughed at them and I knew it was going to be august at the earliest. In aug I was told it was being made and will be delivered at the end of oct. I then got a call saying it was going to be Sept 5th, then another call stating it was going to be sept 25th. I then got a call on sept 4th that it was in.

I was told by a lot of people this is completely normal, Kia corp just does not communicate with the dealers. They can only tell you what kia is telling them.

Offense is always taken never given. From their point of view, they took 40,000 dollars from you and kia will not bother to update them at all on anything. You call in demanding information, they have zero to give you and the dozen other people they are dealing with. Man, just picturing that would put me at death con 2.

So. What to do now? Well first remember offense can only be taken not given. So I would try to figure out what your actions led to their actions. And if you feel that you both lost control, you might want to call them (person that you talked to) back, say you where upset and try to fix it directly. If you feel that they could have handled it better, then you need to contact the person you talked to and tell them so.

Running to the manager or corp is a kindergarten move. Not try to fix the problem personally shows you just want to punish and not correct. Which means there will be very little actual change from corp, management, down.

Your frustration is evident and I would feel the same. How much money have you given to this dealer?

The many delays and extended wait times, as reported in this forum, have kept me on the sidelines. I’m hesitant to order and commit money when it seems the real date of delivery is a wild guess at best. Kia knows how many Tellurides they can build and how many orders they have. Seems to me that should equate to a more informed build schedule and delivery schedule.

Remember, it’s your money and the dealership you purchase from most likely is the same organization you will count on for your maintenance and warranty service. Your experience doesn’t sound like the beginning of a good partnership.
