If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... i25 Delays

Those of you that have had a car shipped from Fowler, did you receive any pictures of the vehicle before they sent? It doesn't seem useful necessarily from a damage standpoint because I really just have to trust them there. But even though I have the sticker it's always nice to verify that it is a properly colored Telluride, not an orange caboose.
Nicole sent us pictures ... prior to us going. I would just ask your sales rep to send you pictures.

Does anyone know whether Fowler accepts outside financing? We were feeling good about placing an order with a sales rep there (have a $500 refundable deposit down), but felt less great after seeing the estimated interest rates on Fowler's website, which are upward of 7 percent.

Hoping to finance through a local credit union or bank if I can.

You will have to ask, we didn't go that route.

Yes, they definitely do. I was going to go USAA or a local credit union but then they ended up giving me rates matching the credit union and just slightly worse than USAA. I wouldn't let that hold me up if I were you. I'd go in with an idea of what outside financing you want to consider and give them a chance to match. From what their finance manager told me they will totally do it, but it could take an extra couple of days. Source: myself, who is right in the middle of signing financial forms now.

They also told me it's trivial to refinance but that I am not sure about and am glad their rates were reasonable enough for me not to have to find out.

My car arrives tomorrow or day after. I just saw something about tipping the driver. It seems like anything involving humans now involves tipping and I am always behind. What would an expected range be?

Sorry just saw your next May that you will receive it tomm. Pls let us know. I am also planning on using shipping using Montway.

Last time I shipped two cars 8 No ago - I have him a $50 per car tip

$100 tip for getting a 60k vehicle to you isn’t unreasonable

It was a mistake to not pay for a covered carrier transporting across the nation in dead of winter. It's hard to comprehend how unbelievably dirty the car got on an open transport. I paid more in detailing fees than I would have for an enclosed carrier. Now it is +1 extra day until I use it since I dropped it off at the detailer.

Also--the car, uh, comes with floor mats, right? Because... mine didn't.

And a little thing I guess but it also didn't come with license plate screws. Next time I'll ask them to please include those. Lastly, as an out of state buyer I was surprised to find that the temporary plates are CO. Maybe that's standard? I guess I'll figure out if it's a DOL problem.

But on the positive, the 2023 grey bumpers actually didn't look bad at all to me. I never despised them like a lot do on this board, but honestly I liked them in person and definitely do not want to put glossy black vinyl on them.

Also, the Everlasting Silver looks far, far better in person but I recognize that it shifts in the light so maybe tomorrow will be a different story :D

It's a good looking car.

2023 interiors are super slick.

The "S" wheels look way better in person.

This is a dumb question but--where can I easily acquire license plate screws? Advance Auto Parts have them? I tried seeing if the front plastic screws would fit in the back and they definitely do not so it doesn't seem to be one size fits all.

A quick search seems to show some people *think* they are M6 x 3/4 or M6 x 1 but I can't find confirmation. Little things like this are annoying to chase around when you kinda expect to "roll off the transport truck" with a new car.

I bought some M6x3/4 off amazon ("amazon tax" be darned) and if those don't work I'll have to do more work unless someone else knows the answer.

Floor mats are an option, did you order it with floor mats?

I figured that was like saying "my car didn't come with light bulbs, I have to order them?" I guess I never heard of a car without floor mats so didn't think of that. What a weird way for manufacturers to nickel and dime.
Don't disagree there ... we originally order ours with floor mats, but we ended up taking a cancelation and it didn't have floor mats lol. I ended up ordering a set off of ebay, it ended up saving me some $.

After filling out the order form, did anyone get a confirmation number soon after? I'm being told this process takes a week or two...
