Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message

Beat me to it! I had to pester them via twitter yesterday! They need to get their headlights together.

And it sounds like it’s mainly around turns. I honestly haven’t had any issues with visibility in my EX. I’ve actually gotten flashed a few times because people think I have my brights on. Guessing they were surprised when I flashed my back to show they weren’t on to begin with.

For the life of me I don't get why Telluride/Palisade aren't competitive (let alone class-leading) in terms of LATCH attachments. VW atlas is far superior, as are a few other options.
Edit: I also don't get the halogen headlights - they look to be significantly lacking (which is consistent with people's reports). The SX trim headlights should be standard. Also, my 10 year old car has steering-responsive headlights....fantastic feature and I don't get why it was omitted.

Agreed. I watched a really well done review video of the midsize crossover segment and this was brought up. The atlas and, I believe, highlander (could be wrong though) were listed as better family-friendly options due to their latch system and being able to keep a car seat tethered but still having the ability to move the second row forward.

Mazda CX-9 and Nissan Pathfinder are two others. And the Pathfinder was designed in 2013 >.<

What I find interesting with headlights is they crash tested an SX as well, so why didn't they test the LED headlights before wrecking it lol?

Kinda figured the headlights would be poor. It seems like all cars equipped with halogens are scored low these days. I was a bit surprised about the latch system, but thankfully we’re out of that stage!

A good portion of cars are not rated great on latch. At least what I shopped for. I would say the straps are plenty long nowadays and never has an issue feeling it securely snap on. And obviously always get it a solid tug after installation.

The length is annoying but less of an issue than how many there are (only 2 in the middle, 1 in the back), and the ability of the seats to move while a seat is latched in. If you have two car seats in the 2nr row of the Telluride, the back seat is fairly inaccessible. The Atlas can put three car seats in the middle seat and still fold its seats to let passengers into the third row. Gives you a lot more flexibility.
They did test them, it is just going to take a little more time to get the results up.
