In Canada, a lot more Palisade sold than Telluride in the last 2 months

In Canada, a lot more Hyundai Palisade were sold than Kia Telluride in the last 2 months. In the USA a little more Telluride were sold.



I don't know if this difference can be explained by the number of units available here in Canada or simply because people in Canada prefer the Palisade.

What are your thoughts ?

The population of Canada is about 9 times smaller than the population of the USA (37 millions vs 329 millions).

If you look at the number of Telluride and Palisade sold in the last 2 months, you will see that American buyers seems to buy more Telluride compared to Palisade per capita. In Canada it is the opposite.

I don't see too many Tellurides in the US, in-spite of the fact that KIA has sold more than 30,000 units. The trend looks like KIA only sold about 2,000 units, at best, in all of Canada. It must be super rare to see a Telluride!

Sx get sold out in Alberta every time they come in. I had to order mine. Kia Canada just isn't getting enough here for us

Agreed. Can’t even get to see an SX at many dealers. I drove 1.5 hrs away to test drive one before finally ordering mine. Due in around end of October. Lack of stock is killing the sales. They had several Palisade though.
