• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Installed Proximity Door Lock/Unlock Module

DELETED

The below works, but all it disables is auto-locking, it didn't disable the auto unlocking, for me. It still auto unlocks upon approach. Can anyone else confirm?

Dipswitch No1 OFF - disable/enable by short pressing trunk button 4 times.
I have the same behavior.

Got my kit. Thanks for printing out the instruction in color.
You didn't have to!
Are you guys leaving dipswitch #1 to off?

You can disable and later enable the proximity locking and unlocking function using the following procedures. You can disable if the car is to go for repairs, or you are going to wash the car.
  • Dipswitch No1 OFF - disable/enable by short pressing trunk button 4 times.
  • Dipswitch No1 ON - disable by short pressing door unlock 4 times, and enable by short pressing door lock 4 times

For the Proximity Module, you do not need to change the dip switch settings. I don't remember which was the default for the Telluride, but use the corresponding button press(either the trunk or unlock 4x) to enable/disable the proximity function. Direction from Shark Racing is general setting for ALL modules. I am guessing some models does not function well with one of the two button presses. If you decide to mess with the switches, do so at your own risk. ;)

Edit: I couldn't disable/enable the proximity module with either button presses. I gave up fast as I do not need the function. It is possible that the function may not work properly on our Tellurides.

Just installed the Proximity Module myself and wired in the passenger side where the Accessorides Compustar Module is according to the diagram below.

Works as advertised.

Dip switch settings for ISG Module installation only:
View attachment 18390
Switch 1 Auto Hold // Off: Memory Mode - On: Manual Mode
Switch 2 ISG // Off: Memory Mode - On: Manual Mode
It is recommended to use the Manual Mode per seller page, but memory mode works fine with my Stinger.

Memory Mode - Restores(remembers) your last setting.
Manual Mode - Force emulates 1x button press at every start up. Recommended if you don't like the memory mode or have problems with alarm/remote start.

It takes up to 3 seconds to save/restore your setting.
So manual mode automatically turns off ISG every time on startup since it clicks once and isg is always enabled by default?

For ISG/Auto Hold Module install

Everything is working correctly as connected as follows:

ISG Module Accessory Jack
red/yellow 12v --- red wire - 12v switched
black - gnd --- black wire - gnd

ISG Module Wire Harness
green - auto hold --- F51 pin 4 - blue/red - auto hold switch -----> NOTE: this is L/O in the above pinout diagram
orange - isg --- F51 pin 8 - orange/white - isg switch

I attached the ISG/AutoHold module on the wall to the wireless charging pad with double faced tape.
I went with the accessory jack for power because F52 was not providing enough current(module wouldn't power on).
The pictures below show which state the leds will be in depending on engine on/off or accessory mode.
note: when switching to accessory mode all three leds will light and then the bottom two in the picture will turn off.
So everything works properly?

Did you do memory mode or manual?

I didn't change any switches, memory mode by default. And I pressed buttons so many times that I don't remember what the default state was for each, I believe off. But what @Lith_SXPN stated about the 3 seconds is correct. Once you press a button to change from on/off you need to wait at least 3 seconds before turning off the vehicle for the module to remember.

That is the idea. I prefer memory mode as I didn't want to enable Auto Hold every start up(default off). My Stinger works fine with memory mode. Since @Kevyn confirmed memory mode works on Telluride, I would leave the dip switch default at memory mode too.

So I missed out on the deal, but I'm excited that the ISG module works and I'm thinking about ordering it anyway. It looks like the connections for the module are all under the center console. Does anyone have instructions for how to remove the console cover without damaging anything? Thanks!

Awesome. So have you noticed any problems since you kept memory mode? Also, which module did you order? Palisade version or stinger or?

Still trying to see if it's forgetting what state I left auto hold and ISG in when I shut off the vehicle. As far as which vehicle the module is I don't know @rwhite4573 did the ordering for all of us.

@rwhite4573 : Any pictures of the Proximity Module wired to the Accessorides Module? I just ordered our Accessorides remote start with takeover this morning. I'll be installing both this weekend and would be slick to piggy back these two.

Thanks!

Keep us updated on if it's working correctly or not.
