• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... We are ordering a dark moss SX-P Nightfall edition tomorrow. I’m stuck on two interiors—either dune or black. What did/would you choose? (FYI have three very sports-active tweens. Our current car has very light tan leather seats and they’ve been a pain to keep clean). Is one easier to keep looking new vs the other? Thanks in advance!

I like the idea of the Dune interior, but like you I'm worried about kids making a mess of them. It was one of the factors in me selling my previous vehicle.

Pick what you like best. Personally, I'm all about the Dune Brown and ordered that to go with my hopefully soon to be built Dark Moss SX-P.

With Dune Brown, you get the dark headliner and a nice contrast with the black polymer parts of the seats. I refuse to get another light colored headliner again after my niece and nephew left permanent dark stain finger paintings on the light liner in my Lexus LS 430.

Check out this thread. Some good photos of the Dune Brown interior:

Re: headliner. Now that is something I hadn't thought about...I know my kids would make a mess of that!

It's like a blank canvas begging for a number of finger paintings made with ketchup or melted chocolate. Too tempting for kids to draw on a light-colored headliner, which is what comes with the other SXP Nappa leather options.

Do we have to tell you what we think?

Seriously, if my salesman called and said, "We received an extra Moss/Dune today, do you want it?", I'd say,"Yes!" I'd say no to Moss with any other interior color.
