• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Loaded up for the beach!
Storage is tight with the third row up, but pretty good with the seats folded down. #Avalon, NJ

We loaded up for a 3 day drive from Ohio to Utah, staying 9 days, then drivingback. Initially I was worried about the cargo area and packing for 6 people. In the back, we have 2 carry on suit cases, 3 duffel bags, 1 backpack, 28 case water bottles, 6 pack of coke, 4 sports drinks, 2 pairs of shoes, and sleep apnea machine (left of suitcases). Back window was not blocked at all. Each person had a backpack at their feet (except driver). One duffel on seat between the two on 3rd row. Large zipper cooler tote between 2nd row captain chairs and snack bag between cooler bag and front console. Everyone had pillows and blankets. We also put extra shoes and first aid kit under 3rd row. Leg room was a little tight but the ride was way more comfortable than my minivan ever was. Duffel bags are definitely easier than suitcases for getting things to fit.

Wow, you fit a lot of items. And with the 3rd row up? That’s impressive! I have a ‘roof bag’ for big trips. The roof bag holds 4 large suitcases plus duffel bags. I just need to make an effort to install the cross bars that have been sitting in a box for several weeks..
