I bought my Telluride about 3 weeks ago and only just noticed this mark on the passenger side door/windshield column. It's a burn from perhaps a glue gun from adhering the ceiling cover to the frame (I'm not sure how they do it) or possibly a cigarette burn (yikes?!)? Based on the way it it under the plastic piece, it would appear to have been done during manufacturing. It's not really noticeable from the drivers side - you need to be straight on to see it. I know things aren't going to be perfect as a lot goes into putting a vehicle together, but my concern here is what happens if the threads start to pull away and it starts peeling? Would this be covered under warranty? Since I just noticed it this weekend I am not even sure how to report it to the dealer/kia or even if it would matter... so I'm a bit annoyed over it. Am I overreacting or should I do something? There is also a very small but visible knick in the dash on the drivers side at the bottom of the door/windshield column, but that doesn't bother me like this burn mark does.
And no - I don't smoke and nobody is allowed to in my vehicle... so this was not done after the purchase
