• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... IPhone

Yes, the car can read text messages via Bluetooth for iPhone. No CarPlay required. Haven’t tested if the voice assistant button on the steering wheel has a command to read texts though. So far I’ve only pressed the read button on the center display.

When you go to Bluetooth settings for Kia Motors, do you have the top option enabled? If not, you can try forgetting Kia Motors on your phones Bluetooth devices, delete your phone from the UVO Bluetooth devices and try to re-pair. Usually when you connect you need to wait an additional minute or two for the Bluetooth request to enable text messages over Bluetooth on your phone.
