I live in Las Vegas and am in search of this vehicle to purchase. Anyone know how I can get one? Thanks in advance!

At this time I believe you would have to order one through the dealer

You can see if this one is spoken for by calling Peak Kia 5077 S. WADSWORTH BLVD. LITTLETON CO 80123

Oh really ok thank you!
I'm also here in Vegas! I ordered mine through Findlay Kia back in early May and they are pretty good to work with. They are selling factory orders at MSRP and their dealer add-ons are reasonable. They do require a $1,000 non-refundable deposit, which bothers some people. They aren't the highest volume dealer in town, but I'm expecting mine in 2 weeks, with a total wait of about 10 weeks, so that's not bad either. I don't know much about Towbin Kia or Jim Marsh Kia, except that they refused to place my order earlier this year saying that they do not take factory orders, which I'm positive is a lie. However, they do get a lot more Telluride allocations than Findlay Kia, so they might have less of a wait time. I would reccommend contacting a dealership though and seeing if you can get your order in soon! Best of luck!

Thank you so much!! I was hoping I could walk in and haggle but it sounds like that’s NOT going to happen!

I’ve tried to research the differences between the different ones. I’ve only had sports cars (mustangs and a camaro) and to be honest the only reason I am getting one of these is because I just had a baby 5 weeks ago and it’s the only SUV that I really like. I have NEVER purchased a brand new car before. The whole losing value when you drive off the lot thing and I really don’t care if I have a brand new car or not. As long as it looks great, in good condition and is reliable with a good consumer report. However, I never ever ever will have a high car payment. $300 is like my top top. My camaro now is $240. -I always try to put a lot of $$ down- I do not need all the bells and whistles but I do want the nightfall edition and I do want the butterscotch interior. Can I get that in the lower model or trim? How much am I really looking at here for this SUV? Help! :)

That's why I'm getting my Telluride! My wife and I are about have our 2nd and need more room than an old Toyota Rav4 can offer.

Unfortunately, the Nightfall Editions is only available on the top 2 trims, the EX and SX. The Butterscotch Leather Interior is only available on the top trim, the SX. So to get both, you are looking at a 2022 White (other colors are an option, I just assumed white) SX with Nightfall and Butterscotch Interior, which is at MSRP for $47,700 including destination charges. It would definitely take a lot up front to get the monthly on that down to where you want it, but it is possible. If you want to play around with the options, you can check it out here: 2021 Kia Telluride | Mid-Size SUV - Build & Price - LX, S, EX & SX | Kia

If you tell them your max car payment is $300, I'm sure the stealership will work out a really nice deal for you, $250/mo x 350 months.

DO NOT go by your ideal monthly! EVER!

I'm in Vegas too - I've searched my butt off. Towbin is the only high volume with available cars. The markup is $10-15K. You also won't get butterscotch there. Jim Marsh said 9m-1yr waitlist, and Findlay said 9 months for MSRP order but the add-ons weren't something I wanted. They do have some available stock with a $6k markup. I narrowed it down to ordering from Colorado with a 4-6 month wait time at MSRP with no add ons. Kerry at Peak Kia (they offer lifetime powertrain and no add-ons) and I-25 kia was a good option too. both quoted under 1000 to ship but we would probably fly out and drive. My only problem now is my car is dying and we need one sooner and might end up with a non-telluride completely :(

I ordered a Glacier white with NF, Tow and butterscotch interior from Dominic at I-25 kia and have had a great experience. He's had great communication with me the whole time and got a scheduled pick up date way sooner than expected as we just ordered end of May. We pick up 8/20. I was told it could have been sooner. but our color combination is quite rare I guess with the butterscotch.

@mclo in today’s market it’s possible to buy a car then sell it only a short while later for more than you paid for it. I’m on my 3rd car in 2 months and made money on the sales of the first two.

You could order a Telluride with little/no deposit, buy a car right now if you can find a decent deal on one, then sell or trade it in when the Telluride arrives.

Case in point:
I bought a used ‘19 Ram 1500 in June of 2020 for $26k. Sold it May of 2021 for $35k. Bought a new 2021 Explorer (prior service loaner) for $33k ($42k MSRP). Traded it two weeks later for $36.5k for a new Honda Pilot. Now have a new Telluride on order and expect to have the same amount of equity on the Pilot it when the Telly arrives as when I bought the Pilot.

So much for “as soon as you drive off the lot, you lose thousands in equity”. Well done.

Oh it gets better.

Wife bought a ‘17 Tucson new for $22k. Traded it May ‘21 for $25k on a new ‘21 Escape (prior dealer admin vehicle with 700 miles) for $21k. Decided she didn’t like the Escape and traded it 3 days later for $24k.

Between the two of us we had 6 different vehicles in less than a month, and made money every time.

Heck, my local Hyundai dealership has a Palisade Limited in stock without a markup or adds. I might just buy it now then trade it in on my Telluride when it comes. KBB currently values the Palisade trade-in value at about $1k over new MSRP.

Yeah, financing companies hate me.

This is the same story for my wife. It was a long time since we had purchased a new vehicle but my wife had researched this car for over a year and the used market prices were about the same price as new ( around May 2021).

In our experience, we scoured The internet and ended up finding one with everything she wanted at Ft Collins, CO. No dealer add ons except the VIN theft etch and priced at MSRP. We didn't haggle because we knew we couldn't. I think at this point, you put your name on a list (if possible) with your specs or order one and wait.

Good luck...these trucks are hot!

I ended up purchasing an Audi Q5 white with tan interior will be delivered to my home tomorrow from Audi in Peoria Arizona. The Telluride just is too hard to find.

Congrats on the Q5. When you do find a Telluride you could probably trade the Q5 for it and not lose any money, and maybe make some!
