I-95 going through Fredericksburg, VA is a war-zone disaster of construction for about 30 miles. Never seen anything like it and it has been this way for several years and with no end in sight. They are bringing down the DC metro to Fredericksburg, extending the toll HOV lanes, building new bridges across the Rappahannock. Literally, it might take another ten years and then because the population and traffic have doubled, they'll start over on another upgrade. For those of you who may be traveling this route, do yourself a HUMONGOUS favor and plan ahead and totally avoid Fredericksburg, VA. Take the scenic route and avoid sitting stuck for hours on end. TAKE HEED!
