Because it's not something the salesman neds to know, typically only one sales manager works with that system. The orders get put in as a dealer request and automatically go to a fulfilled status if a matching allocation opens. If your order is an SX, and they get 9 EX allocations and 1 SX for that month and there is 3 SX in front of you yours won't get in that month for example.

I've also seen the Kia system pull orders not in order. My best advice as a dealer is find a dealer you trust and let them take care of it

There's quite a bit of variability in the process. My order appeared in failcat on 7/5, despite not being picked up in June KFOS. My car got delivered 8/10, even though someone at the same dealership who ordered the day after me is getting theirs in late Oct.

Ordered mine from Murray as well last month. I can only hope for a 3 month wait! Did you have to communicate (bug) Roger at all, or did you just let things be?

I asked him for updates on my place in line after every KFOS opening, that's about it. He did notify me within a day or two after my vehicle showing up in failcat, so he's obviously paying attention. Good luck on your wait!
