Kia EV6

I'm sure a bunch of us got the e-mail from Kia today regarding the Kia EV6 launch in NYC.

It looks pretty legit... for an all-electric vehicle.

Not a fan of the currently available Teslas and the GM Hummer EV is super cool but also way too expensive, especially the first edition/top trim.

I'm curious as to the upcoming trim levels and how they're going to price the first edition EV6 (according to the video: only 1500 cars)

It's no Telly, but then again nothing else is

I am interested in the EV6 however I can only imagine how horrible the dealership experience for service and support will be. I think vehicle itself will probably be fine and the value proposition will be great, however the little dealerships nuances will drive people away. At my local dealer, the customer service bay entry is very narrow and positioned on a 90 degree turn that is limited by fixed cones.. That makes it barely wide enough for the Telluride to fit. Instead of coming up with another way for customers to drop off their vehicles or moving the cones so customer could have a straight approach, they opted to install service entry cameras to prove that any scratches where your fault not theirs. Its those type of little things. I will probably wait for the Hyundai equivalent or that electric F150 has me wondering if a pickup truck would fit in my garage .

I dont like, at all, the "style" of electric vehicles that pretend they are from the future. This is a prime example, its gross.

Honda's little electric car they designed and won't bring here is what I'd want...or the porsche.


p.s. this new trend in lower/mid end cars of the raised dash...its horrible and I hate it. Something else they went full retard on in this car.
