• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Kia is assembling many X-Line/X-Pros with different colored bumpers (light vs. dark)

I believe the OP's Sample Case #1 is the most definitive of all the examples from all the subsequent posts because of the following:
Both are X-Pros
Both are Dark Moss
Example A in the brighter light clearly has the darker bumper. It is so obvious, there really should be no argument.
Sample Case 1:
The below are both dark moss X-Pros. Example A's front is clearly getting stronger/more direct sunlight than Example B, as you can tell by how much lighter/brighter the paint and Kia logo are in Example A than Example B. But when you look at Example A's bumper, it is undeniably several shades darker than Example B's. If it were a lighting issue, Example B's bumper would be much darker.

Example B with a light bumper:

Would you say the grill surround is chrome or dark metallic?

Here's my problem--dead center of my rear bumper (2023 SX X-Pro, Glacial White Pearl body) some loser a-hole scrapped up my bumper in a parking lot or something in that "silver/grey" area--two huge gouges! How the heck am I going to match that to touch it up so it doesn't look so horrible?
Probably the best way to handle is to get it vinyl wrapped in black. It will look better and probably be the least cost option.

Looks to be a brushed silver

Agree but all X-lines trims are described on the website as dark metallic, including grill surround. In the original photos they showed dark metallic grill surround just like around the windows. Both the grill surround and bumper photos for the X-line trims were misleading if they are coming to the dealerships chrome/silver gray looking. When there’s not an X-line on the lot to see, we have to go with advertising photos from the Kia website. VERY MISLEADING AND KIA DOESN’T CARE!!

Have you seen the website changes on the 2024 Telluride SX X-Line bumpers? I guess Kia has responded to the complaints about the silver gray bumpers. I saw on another site that they are going from dark chrome to black trim and back to the daytime Amber lights. Don’t know if that’s correct information.

Yes, it is correct. In the last couple of weeks, I have seen MANY photos of the new black bumpers and amber DRLs, and also the same is now shown on the KIA build site.
