Has anyone had any recent updates? My ETA got pushed from feb 17 to feb 21st, which I’m a little hesitant to believe still. There hasn’t been much movement on failcat recently, and I’m wondering if production is low right now.

How did the manager help you? Has anyone been able to get their $1000 deposit back from Matt? I'm almost to that point with the lack of communication. I need 7 seats ASAP. May buy a car for my almost 15-year olds and just drive that until I can get a car for myself.

Mike has been very responsive, miles above Matt. I sent one email to Mike listing my issues. He responded within 15 minutes to confirm he was on it. Both issues resolved. I would skip Matt if I were you, and go straight to Mike. Some have had a great experience with Matt, so your mileage may vary.

Exactly! He had the nerve to send me a video today to "check on me" and see if I need anything. He didn't even bother updating me or explaining why he never addressed my questions. He even went as far as telling me not to reply unless I need something. SMH.

Other than my frustration with Matt, this was a pain free experience. There was zero pressure from Matt or Frank in Finance, so it was the easiest vehicle purchase I've had. I got my Telly, which I'm enjoying, and Matt got his commission. That said, I guess I shouldn't complain too much.

I did! They delivered it to me a few weeks ago. It was a really easy buying experience, but my sales person (Matt) had no involvement in the end.

Still not picked. Matt sent me a video talking about their pipeline has 3 months were of vehicles and once they get those vehicles in on the lot their allocations will get bigger. Guess it's time to start looking at different options now SMH.

Well, today I have asked for a refund of my deposit. I cant wait another 3-4 months. Hopefully me cancelling my order for those who are waiting get there's a little faster.

Totally understand. I doubt we will go faster. I bet they keep it and sell it. I got an update yesterday that said they are almost through the September orders and will be starting the October hopefully soon. We will see. I'm in no giant rush luckily so I'm holding.

Ended up getting my wife the Palisade. They had them on the lot for MSRP so still a win for me I guess.

Just an update for anyone still waiting on their telluride from Kia of Columbia. My telluride arrived at the dealership yesterday. I was able to do all of the paperwork online without any trouble or hassle. By far the easiest car buying experience ever. Also, got a great offer on my trade in. I still have to figure out how I’ll get it as i‘m a few hundred miles from the dealership, but hoping to iron that out. oh, and as many others have reported, I did have to buy their mats, and the Kia factory was not able to complete my add ons. Overall, this has been a pretty decent experience, but I think if I were to do it again I would use a different salesman at the dealership. I think Matt is too overloaded, and I think he tends to over promise and under deliver. I knew my car was coming in this week, and I have messaged him multiple times in recent weeks trying to figure out the buying and trade in process, and i never got any response. It felt very frustrating after a 7 month wait (told 2-3 months) to not be communicated with the week leading up to. It wasn’t even him who contacted me when it arrived; I actually haven’t spoken to him in weeks, and he was not involved in any of the paperwork communication.

Did they give you a sales contract before the car arrived so you could us an out of town lender and shorten the time between arrival and delivery?

I'm sorry. Can you elaborate? Are you saying you might have to wait three more months? I ordered through Matt on 10/5 and still don't have mine either.

I did. I just called and asked for it no issues. They had to send it back in a check.

Awesome! Who called you? When is it estimated to be in? I ordered October 5th and supposedly mine is really soon. I can see the dealership have a lot of cars in Failcat so hopefully that’s good news.
