Greetings from SoCal! Glad to join the club. Just picked up a 2022 Glacial White, SX Prestige, Nightfall.
Nice. Coming from SoCal did they charge over MSRP? Heard some of the biggest markups are in California

Insane markups in California. I picked my SX up in Las Vegas. Still over MSRP but not as bad as California. Attached is a dealership marking up an EX for almost $23k!

That's outrages. Like people are really going to pay that much on a markup.

OK, this could be a U.S. record for a Telluride, in terms of both the absolute total markup by the dealer ($22,286), and markup's percentage increase over MSRP -- 49%!

Can anyone beat that for dealer audacity?

Dealers in So Cal can charge whatever they like. It will eventually sell. That dealer, Kia of Cerritos, is a high volume dealer.
The dealer closer to where I live was at $15K market adjustment in January (SX w tow only). Charged 399 for wheel locks and 399 for nitrogen filled tires.
$61.5k price before taxes. It sold 3 days after hitting the lot.

I got pretty lucky picking up a SX NF+P+T from the Waco dealer via their first come first serve basis. I'm not in that area but it was worth the drive.

I paid 55k and change out the door with taxes/license etc (cash purchase) for a 22’ SXP AWD Nightfall/Tow with no attachments/add-ons…and that was July 2021, basically one of the first to be driving a 22’ considering Kia’s release schedule.

This is a freaking joke, Telly customers, just stop buying rides with ridiculous markups - and dealers will be forced to waive them. Sad these jokers price gouging a vehicle when they are already making a profit. At 67k (lower trim!), I would have bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee L nearly fully loaded or a more luxurious vehicle for that matter.

With that said, I have been exceptionally pleased with our Telly with the one major issue I have - towing. And go figure, 23’ received a tow boost. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Somebody is an idiot if they actually paid 399 for nitrogen. I really hope they negotiated that. I went through a nitrogen phase myself but it came with my tire purchase at Costco (x2 different sets). And refills, never paid for them - it’s Costco and included with the tires upon install. Oh and I made sure i purchased during their $150 off sale and on the Citi Costco card for additional rewards back paid off every month - no interest paid in years so I see that as a mini discount rather than shelling out $399 for nitrogen - which is already approximately 78% of what we breath with 21% of oxygen in our atmosphere by the way. And from what I hear (not confirmed by me) that Costco will deflate and inflate with nitrogen for free. I do know shops charge but not $400 or at least what I have heard personally.

Even what I consider creditable source sees little value.

You might as well go by a 0.99 cent ‘Thank You’ card with $400 in it for your dealer to take their spouse out on a fancy date while you drive off the lot with a depreciating “investment” and likely a car payment with interest on nitrogen lol, a gas that is naturally in the air you pump a tire with. Even if you paid cash like I did for my Telly, it is complete waste of money! Just don’t do it.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! This is what I ordered, but now I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a '23. I love the new interior but I wish the exterior was staying the same :(

Thanks! It's a nice color, surprisingly not very popular. We picked up someone's order, Grey would be our first choice, but the espresso is really nice.

New owner here!

Ordered 2022 Wolf Gray/Dune SXP August 17 2021 and delivered August 30 2022....

1 year solid to get exactly what we wanted at MSRP. Love it so far and still learning all of the features.

We did opt for the foldable factory cargo mat and if I did it again I would likely skip as it's pretty stiff, uses velcro to stick to the floor carpet and will pull/pile very quickly. It is only on the cargo tub cover but just as an FYI...

Likely leave it stock with the exception of a color correction, full ceramic coating and front surface P.P.F. Maybe some weathertech liners...
