New owner here!

Ordered 2022 Wolf Gray/Dune SXP August 17 2021 and delivered August 30 2022....

1 year solid to get exactly what we wanted at MSRP. Love it so far and still learning all of the features.

We did opt for the foldable factory cargo mat and if I did it again I would likely skip as it's pretty stiff, uses velcro to stick to the floor carpet and will pull/pile very quickly. It is only on the cargo tub cover but just as an FYI...

Likely leave it stock with the exception of a color correction, full ceramic coating and front surface P.P.F. Maybe some weathertech liners...
Congrats on finally getting your car. Welcome to the owners club.
Glad you stuck to your guns and only paid MSRP even though it made the wait longer.
Hope the Telluride is everything you spent 1 year imagining it would be. I know it has been for me.

Received my Gravity grey/grey interior Labor Day weekend. Fowler Kia was awesome to work with. Fantastic car, couldn't be happier!

Drove away in a 2022 SX on Aug 31. SX black interior (standard interior) in Gravity Grey (standard exterior) and exactly zero options. How long did it take to get my Telluride? Exactly one day! (Please don't hate me)
Here is my story. I became interested in upgrading my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee to something with more room and optimized for long road trips in mid August. I first focused on the Honda Pilot but read the Consumer Reports review of the Telluride and I was hooked. I also knew I wanted as SX for the 360 surround view. I had some casual conversations with Honda and Kia dealers. On Aug 30 I connected with a new sales person at the local Kia store. She gave me the whole story on ordering wait times and the refundable deposit process. She also mentioned that they did occasionally have cars that came in where the customer backed out of the deal. Then she took the time to show me to the Telluride configuration tool. I was really impressed with the tool and it confirmed that I'd be totally happy with an SX with no options. I thanked her for spending time with me. After our conversation I felt much more equipped to make a decision. That evening, my partner and I chatted about what I had learned and discussed the possibility of putting down a deposit to start the order process. At 8:30 that evening, I received a call from the sales person I had spoken to earlier. She told me that a Telluride with exactly the configuration I was interested in (down to the color) had come in at 4:00 pm that day. The individual that placed the order backed out and if I wanted the car, I should be there the next morning when they opened their doors at 9:00 am. I was and drove home in a new Telluride at noon. I paid MSRP but I was *very* unhappy with what they gave me for my trade in but on balance you would have to consider it a reasonable deal. True Story!
Post Script: Initially, I was a bit confused as to why she did not call someone who already had a car on order but have come to realize that almost all SXs are ordered with lots of options. So, she had me as a ready buyer or could call someone who had a car on order and try to talk them into a model with few options than they wanted. So I was the easy sale. Pretty amazing coincidence.

Bought new 2022 SXP NF on 9/12/2022, build date of 8/24/2022, professionally ceramic coated 9/26-29/2022, and window tint to come 10/14 :)

I got lucky that the guy who had ordered months earlier had a change of circumstances (couldn't wait, had to replace his old car sooner than expected), and i just happened to look for one the day it arrived & dealer posted online. Another person was looking at it too, but decided to get the EX that came on the same truck (thank God, since this is my retirement gift to myself and wanted it fully loaded since i plan on keeping it until the liberals force me to get an EV) ....

Congrats. Enjoy the ride. When did you place your order?
Well.... I started querying dealers a couple of months ago. I complied a list of every dealer within a couple hundred miles. Of course that got me on their radar. I have been filtering and responding to texts, emails and phone calls for weeks. I got a pretty good feel for dealers and sales pitches. The stars aligned and a dealer I liked got a delivery of 8-10 new Tellies. They called and asked if I wanted to look at what they had. This one fit my likes and we negotiated a deal. I did pay a bit over MSRP but felt like I was compensated with other trade in perks etc. So..to answer your question....I did not order and bought off the lot.

2023 SXP XPro Ordered 9/30 delivered 10/29 also signed papers should take delivery tomorrow 10/31. Super excited to not only check out everything (first time Kia owner) but also to have a vehicle that comfortably fits our family of 5 again. Telluride is replacing my pilot that was totaled in July. Telluride will be going to the detailed first thing Tuesday (11/1) morning for tint, ceramic coating, de-badging, and whatever else I or the hubby feel we need to add on or take off once we really get a good look at everything.

Out with the old, a 2021 SX, and in with the new, a 2023 SX-L that’s been on order for just…11 months lol. Winter wheels on them both but can’t wait to put OEM’s on in the spring, just love the new ones for ‘23. New tech is just awesome, weird silver front/rear bumper garnish not so much, think I’m gonna splurge and get the silver portions wrapped in black as some have done. Both of these from Grimsby Kia in Southern Ontario along with our ‘21 Seltos and my daughter’s new ‘23 Rio which finally arrived yesterday. Quite honestly the best dealership I’ve ever dealt with!! And despite the buying climate, probably one of only a handful of value driven, ethical dealerships in North America that hasn't subscribed to gouging their customers with a ‘list is list”mentality, ridiculous markups or forced “add ons” that you don’t want or need. Cheers Telly owners!!

Traded out the wife's 2020 LX for a new 23' SX X-Line in Jungle Green, just drove it from Naples Fl to Raleigh NC and back. What a great ride! Now any suggestions or preferences on a roof rack over a hitch mounted Luggage Carrier?
