• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... KIA Telluride Owner Roll Call!

Hey all, I got my SX FWD 2 weeks ago today and I'm totally loving so far. Kind of wish that I waited for another 2 weeks before buying it because maybe I could have gotten a better deal, but in the end, it didn't really matter that much and I needed a car because I had already sold my old Toyota Highlander. Got it in everlasting silver which I love the looks of, especially in the sunlight. Nice to get the $1000 off for Kia financing although I plan to just pay it off next month. Nice that they don't have a prepayment penalty. What do I like best about it thus far?

1. LKA - It is working fantastic for me on my 20 minute straight highway commute. I hardly ever have to touch the wheel and it has done a great job of anticipating when cars merge into my lane. I don't think Smart Cruise control is necessary.

2. MPG: Am consistently getting an average of 29 mpg on my mostly highway commute, driving typically around 65 mph and coasting when I can. Got even better going 60 mph but it was too annoying. Driving at 75 mpg this morning because I was late got me 28 mpg.

3. Looks: I think it looks fantastic. Thinking about getting some K 3.0 badges just to make it look a little different. There was a guy driving a late model Range Range the other day and I watched him turn his head and stare at my $35K Kia. It made me laugh.

4. Storage: so much more rear seat capacity than my old 2009 Toyota Highlander. And a split seat in the third row so if I need more I can put one of the seats down.

Love this car- hoping that it is a reliable ride for the next 10-15 years or so!

Cheers from Cleveland,
Mike

Congrats! I guess you like white :p

Looks that way huh?!? I actually wanted Everlasting Silver in an EX Premium, but with such limited inventory when the dealer called and said white S, I went ahead and pulled the trigger. 7 seater was important, and I think I miss a few of the EX features, but I love it otherwise.

@blitt Sidesteps look awesome in the picture up above in this thread. I have a short-ish wife (5'0") and an 8 year old daughter, so I have been looking to add running boards of some sort, and the factory ones would be preferred. Question - are they as functional as they are good looking? Do they feel sturdy when stepped on?

My wife is on the short side also, but she has NO issues getting in and out of the car. They look very nice, but I don't think I would fork over that much just for the looks. Too many other things to spend it on <G>...

regards

Scott

You need to make it look different!?!! I've only seen 2 other Tellurides in N. Central Florida since I acquired my Black Copper Telly. Lol, no worries about it looking different.

It stands out and would stand out in any color.

Haha, true enough, I don't see many of them around yet. But I do like the elegance of the K 3.0 logo. Hopefully I can align them well. They are on their way to my house now! Original badges or not, this is a lovely vehicle.

Just picked up my dark moss AWD SX P/T on Saturday. Loving it so far!
