KIA Telluride South Florida--recommendations?

It seems that the window to special order a 2020 Telluride is closing rapidly, if it has not closed already. My question now is whether to buy one with a hitch and a bunch of other stuff we do not really need or want or wait for a 2021 and risk a price increase.

Correct decision point. 2020 orders are closed. Detailed info on 2021 features and colors (but not prices) has been posted in another thread "2021 Telluride Training Manual".

I did contact them when I was looking early May 2020, none in stock at the time, they told me they were taking deposits on deliveries and a mgr was suppose to call me back; three days later I had found my vehicle in Sebring and I received a call from the internet girl asking if anyone called me; not as of yet! I told her too late now!

Yes, It was a white SX Prestige. It had 6,000 miles on it and was owned by the GM. They get quite a bit of the Tellurides in and have around 14 or so employees that drive them. Maybe some of them will come available too? With an extra $2000 of insurance, it brings you back up over the 10 years of insurance plus on all the extras too. We felt that was well worth it.

Airport Kia delivered my Telluride yesterday. Everything was perfect. I actually bought the car sight unseen. I thought the car was on their lot when I made the purchase but was told it did not come in until after I purchased it.
Joanna4kids, you are correct. Upon delivery I was told that employees do drive the tellurides as leases. When a customer wants one bad enough and willing to pay, the employees give them up to be sold. Mine was new with 13 miles on it and I did not pay over MSRP. Great experience with Airport Kia.

i bought the EX with convenience package. Paid MSRP. This is actually the Telly we wanted. Black / black with a few extras. We could have bought a SX from a employee lease as you did but the EX met our needs. I would not pay MSRP for a SX. I don’t like sunroofs. I can make a EX look like a SX if I wanted. Just not worth 2k more for an SX.
Bottom line is that Airport Kia is worth dealing with.

I’m in south Florida and I ended up ordering mine from Muncie with the Costco discount. Got mine in January and ordered it..... December. Quite the anomaly... I wasn’t even expecting it that soon. SX FWD.
