• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Leatherette in SX-P

I finally test drove one for the first time today. They just had the LX available, and my wife and I were a bit underwhelmed. It drove fine, except for what seemed to be some very light shaking as I was accelerating (is this normal?). Otherwise, the LX is truly basic.
Does test driving an EX (what we’re leaning towards) make a big difference in overall driving “feel”? I’m hoping it does, given some of the EX material improvements.
Overall, I felt like some of the mental sheen of the Telly came off for me today...and I’m hoping for it back when I can test drive an EX.

Sounds like you may have experienced “Torque steer”. Was the shaking in the steering wheel? Was it FWD?

Wel
It did seem to be the steering wheel, and it was an AWD.
Well you could experience torque steer in an AWD, front-wheel drive based vehicle, but it should be less common. Maybe it was the dreaded AWD drivetrain vibration?
An AWD EX is mechanically the same as a AWD LX, so it shouldn’t drive any differently.

Is the AWD drivetrain vibration something specific to the Telluride?
I’m hoping this one may have just been a bit off...

Vibration has been more commonly reported at highway speeds 65-75mph. I also believe it may be possible the tires KIA installs on the Telluride aren’t the smoothest riding.

mine started vibrating on startup couple of days ago, it is very minor but you can feel the vibration in the floor board and I can clearly see the seats shaking too. I have only had this car for 10 days now.
I feel its the engine vibrating or may be timing belt got loose. Its 2021 awd sxp
