I picked up my Telluride this morning and I'm in love! For those that are following this specifically for insight into dealing with Lev Kia and Ken Russian, I can tell you everything went incredibly smoothly and this was by far the easiest car buying/leasing transaction I've ever made.
I met with Ken for an introduction and then primarily dealt with Peter in finance, whom had already contacted me a couple days prior to confirm my leasing terms and payments, and to get the insurance setup. He was very nice and there was no pressure at any time. Before signing anything I asked if I could do a test drive and Ken got me set up and did a very quick but very thorough rundown of the most important features in the car. Typically I hate this part because as a women, I have often been treated like I'm a moron who knows nothing about cars. It was so refreshing to deal with Ken because not once did he make me feel like that.
I did notice they put a Lev Kia decal on the rear bumper so once back from the test drive I inquired with whomever was sitting up front (I assume the GM?) and he was more than happy to take it off for me.
After finalizing all the papers in finance they did the registration and inspection and once that was done, Ken brought her around front and did another quick and thorough run-through of a few things and I even learned something about using the manual key to pop off part of the external door handle casing to get in if ever the key fob was dead. Again, it was refreshing to have a salesperson that was knowledgable about the car he was selling.
Ken thanked me and said they had seen some of my comments about him and Lev Kia online and appreciated the nice words.
While I'm a little disappointed that I ordered the Illuminated Scuff Plates and did not order the carpeted
floor mats but got them (and had to pay for them anyway), I am pretty sure this was an "executive decision" at the factory and no fault of Lev Kia. I am still completely over the moon with the Telluride I ordered.
I feel very confident recommending Lev Kia and Ken Russian to anyone in or around Massachusetts.
As a side note, my wife and I sat in the K5 and man, it is niiiice! It felt like sitting in a mustang (nice cockpit) but having a sedan in back. The backseat was huge. If ever we add a car to our family, this will be on our short list.
