Lev Kia is killin' it!

Very Nice! What did you end up with as far as monthly payments? If you're OK with sharing.

I picked up my Telluride this morning and I'm in love! For those that are following this specifically for insight into dealing with Lev Kia and Ken Russian, I can tell you everything went incredibly smoothly and this was by far the easiest car buying/leasing transaction I've ever made.

I met with Ken for an introduction and then primarily dealt with Peter in finance, whom had already contacted me a couple days prior to confirm my leasing terms and payments, and to get the insurance setup. He was very nice and there was no pressure at any time. Before signing anything I asked if I could do a test drive and Ken got me set up and did a very quick but very thorough rundown of the most important features in the car. Typically I hate this part because as a women, I have often been treated like I'm a moron who knows nothing about cars. It was so refreshing to deal with Ken because not once did he make me feel like that.

I did notice they put a Lev Kia decal on the rear bumper so once back from the test drive I inquired with whomever was sitting up front (I assume the GM?) and he was more than happy to take it off for me.

After finalizing all the papers in finance they did the registration and inspection and once that was done, Ken brought her around front and did another quick and thorough run-through of a few things and I even learned something about using the manual key to pop off part of the external door handle casing to get in if ever the key fob was dead. Again, it was refreshing to have a salesperson that was knowledgable about the car he was selling.

Ken thanked me and said they had seen some of my comments about him and Lev Kia online and appreciated the nice words.

While I'm a little disappointed that I ordered the Illuminated Scuff Plates and did not order the carpeted floor mats but got them (and had to pay for them anyway), I am pretty sure this was an "executive decision" at the factory and no fault of Lev Kia. I am still completely over the moon with the Telluride I ordered.

I feel very confident recommending Lev Kia and Ken Russian to anyone in or around Massachusetts.

As a side note, my wife and I sat in the K5 and man, it is niiiice! It felt like sitting in a mustang (nice cockpit) but having a sedan in back. The backseat was huge. If ever we add a car to our family, this will be on our short list.

I have to say that silver takes on a pretty cool blue-gray tint on a cloudy day like today! And the silver and NE look nice together. Congrats!

Congrats @jenfowler78 🥳, and thanks for this review of Lev! They are definitely on the top of my list New England list now!

I appreciate you including that bit about the dealer sticker - I’ve always wondered how much of a fight the dealer would put up on that.

I’ll say it again based on these pictures: Nightfall looks best on Everlasting Silver IMO 😍

You have to be licking at the chops after seeing her vehicle.

@jenfowler78,

I too am very excited. I did speak with Ken Russian and my Telluride is due in on or about 10/6. I do agree he was a straight shooter about delivery. He initially said it could be as long as 18-22, we ordered 08/18 so I am more than excited.

Looks like time from order to delivery has really gotten quicker. Hang in there.

I agree that things seem to be speeding up. Some trims more so than others. But progress in the right direction!

If only I liked the Nightfall on Dark Moss, I'd have it by now! But I turned that down. It is speeding up, but those taking Nightfalls are even faster.

True. However I ordered a “S” with nothing added. I am pleasantly surprised to say the least.

Same here. If it were for me, I may have pivoted to a SXP Nightfall to get it sooner. But, my wife knew what she wanted and that is what we are going with.

Maybe they had a dealer allocation that happened to line up exactly with your order. In any case, that is lucky!

Thanks, everyone! Wow, lots of comments and questions. I got behind at work with being off to pick her up yesterday so I am just now seeing the majority of these...

I will take pictures tomorrow of the interior with exterior paint show. The color combo is amazing, btw. Even the dealership commented on that, mine being the first they've seen with that combo. I could not be happier!

Very Nice! What did you end up with as far as monthly payments? If you're OK with sharing.

Lease payments...nope, I don't mind sharing. I have excellent credit, but wouldn't you know the money factor just changed which increased the rate from 3.14% to 4.1% Not huge but it was enough to be annoying. With everything rolled in (zero down minus my first month pmt), for 36/12 it's a sad $772/mo. It's not ideal, obviously.

It's a complete dream to drive. Smoothest car, nice tight turning radius. Night driving is a huuuuge step up from the hazy headlights of my '07 Civic. I can actually see now! The sound system is incredible -- my son tested the bass out and we were all pleasantly surprised (save for his choice of music). There's a lot to learn about the car and I'm slowly making my way through the manuals. I did test out the HDA and that was pretty cool. I can definitely see how that would reduce fatigue on long road trips. All in all, I am completely in love with it. And my favorite part and to echo what many others here have said, the HUD (especially with the turn-by-turn nav) is amazing and I will never own another car without it.

It's funny that I ended up ordering the Everlasting Silver. At the beginning of this year, it was the color I liked least, next to Dark Moss. I was especially opposed to it because my wife has a silver Ford Escape and I have a grey Civic that will be split between my two kids. I did not want another silver/grey car in the driveway. It seemed so bleh. But I like the picture I have of our three cars and how the Everlasting Silver looks so unique. Today in between cloudy, gloomy skies and peaks of sunshine, I saw everything from that dusky blue-grey to the hint of lavender. And it definitely looks best with the Nightfall package. I am not one bit disappointed in the color choice. I love it!
