How many miles? How much? With the whole virus thing, it sounds like Kia isn't gonna release the 2021 until Fall. You might be waiting quite a while especially if you're picky...like me!

Based on the release of training information being released this week - all signs point to KFOS opening on 6/15 to order the 2021's. Then deliveries should start between 30-60 days after that. So we aren't that far away. If anyone has waited since this past winter (like I have) 2-3 more months is doable.

Good info. I may hold out then. Hopefully they fixed the exploding sun roof and self cracking windshield. Wondering what the MSRP is gonna be on the ‘21’s? I think they could get away with a $3000 price increase. That would suck. I have never ordered a car before. I read about 5 and 6 month waits for the 1st gen pre-orders. That would also suck.

There weren't many exploding sunroofs and the windshield was given a fix by Kia via letter. I haven't had a problem with either. There will always be the chance of sunroofs exploding - they are tempered glass and it can happen. Interestingly, Kia had issues with this years ago in the Sorento. All manufacturers have had issues - but it is a small number of vehicles.

Yes - even with reduced demand due to COVID - demand is still far greater than supply and even in slow growth times - people still need new cars. I predict the waits to order (especially on the SXP) will remain 4-6 months through next year.
