  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So I had heard that Royal Kia down in Tucson was .. but not sure there. All the dealers I called in the Phx Metro area, all had market adjustments :( I ended up ordering one from Kia of Fowler in Colorado.

Thanks for the info. Royal Kia would be convenient but I'll give them a call. Fowler gave you at MSRP?

That is correct, I put down a $500 refundable deposit, they have a $699 doc fee I believe. There are lots of peeps on the forum that have ordered through them. Just note, it's going to take a LONG time. We were told 6-8 months, we placed our order on 1/10/22. Which is fine with us since we are in no rush. We plan on flying there once it comes in and making it a road trip to come back :)

The lowest markup by local (Phx) dealers was under 10k. I have yet to pull the trigger but seems there a couple CO dealers willing to sell msrp.

There was someone on here who had done pretty well with a dealer in Central NY ... I could be mistaken but I thought he had ordered at MSRP with no add-nos. The dealers in the eastern part of the state — where I am — generally seem to tack on significant market adjustments.

Thanks, all. @byscott Yes, I think it was a dealer out of Syracuse NY? (Also let's go Gmen - can't get much worse than it's been the last few years... I think? :( Missing the glory days of 2008 and 2012 for sure)

@WickednAZ thanks, I am going to try the local dealer here in Tucson (Royal) first
