    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello, my first post here so I apologize if it's not in the correct area.

I'm going nuts searching for the exact vehicle we are looking for, so it seems like placing an order is my best bet. I'm in the Atlanta area and looking for recommendations on who to order from for MSRP and to get it the quickest. Does it depend on WHAT you are ordering, or WHO you are ordering it from? It seems like I've read somewhere that some dealers move through the process quicker?

We are looking for an SX Nightfall with towing package in White or Grey. (flexible on interior color if we could find one available now - grey or black is preferred if we order) We are also willing to travel if needed.

I've looked through Failcat (which is very overwhelming - but such a great resource!) Is there a trick to finding inventory that way? The dealerships I've reached out to don't claim to have anything on the way - assuming they are already sold?

Any advice/recommendations/Failcat tips are appreciated!

@swadek

There's always a trade-off between delivery time and price. I would take suggestion above and visit Chamblee - search other posts too - they appear to be taking orders at MSRP but it will be a few months until delivery.

The "Good Dealer..." thread has a lot of good experiences listed.

There's a great thread here with some more info if you prefer to hunt.

@swadek , i also recommend this dealer. This is who we went through. Their doc fee is a little steep, but they have communicated well and sell at MSRP.

Also from North Atlanta. You can always ship for $500-$1000 or if you don't mind driving, there is a dealer in Cary, NC, one in Indianapolis, IN, and one in Springfield, MO with lower doc fees still at MSRP. In the end, we are getting ours from Luther in Minneapolis. Kind of far but we got lucky and one of their buyers backed out so no wait. Flying up on Spirit for $40pp.

Call Lucas at Kia of Muncie. They are the only dealership I've seen offering below MSRP. They will honor Costco pricing if you are a Costco member. I'm in NC and with shipping factored in to my price I'm still well under MSRP. You might have a bit if a wait depending on what trim my you order. SXP takes the longest, but Lucas will tell you where you will be in the wait list. I was a Dec 2019 order who was slated for April delivery. Then Covid hit. So now I'm a November delivery and am
happy to have waited to get just what I wanted.
