Talking about Canadian trims here.
Trading in my 2014 Sante Fe XL limited (approx 15kish) and not wanting to put much down while having payments at 72 months 600 per range. One step down from Top trims is where I landed,
Watching both these like a hawk since the begining of the year, and the Telly droping first. Very very impressive overall but 3 things I didnt like thou about the Telly.
1) Front face/grill. Too small esp vertically. That big wide opening right under the grill? Thankfully covered by front license plate. Love the look from profile and Back so not a deal-breaker.
2) Rear turn signals. Red and down on bumper. Not cool. Almost a deal breaker.
3) The steering wheel. 4 spoke and way too big Kia badge. whatever.
Now the Pally comes out. Very impressive but 2 absoulte deal breakers!
Reminder Im comparing Pally Lux vs Telly SX. I will say at top trim I would actually take the Pally! but at one step down I think Hyundai really dropped the ball with the Pally, heres why.
SX Telluride- Dual Pano Sunroof! This alone sealed the deal for me. Hyundai charges 50k+ for a SUV with no dual sunroof!
110 volt plug. My limited(2 steps down from top trim) 2014 SF XL has this! I was camping all CDN Day weekend and this is a must!
Other smaller differences. No wireless charging on Pally. That electric folding 3rd row is a joke takes 15 sec to fold. Power folding side mirriors only on Telly. More chrome accents on Telly.
Only plus for Pallisade is self leveling rear suspention! Other than that Telly smokes it at this trim in Canada and its not even close.
Needless to say I bought a Moss SX today. Not hating on the Pally, very nice ride but they held too much back going from Luxury to Ultimate here in Canada.
