• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Anyone know the maintenance schedule for the Telluride? My dealer is telling me its every 3,750 miles but the Kia Access app and web site says every 7,500 miles.

So who is correct?

I know most vehicles have an "A" schedule or a "B" schedule, but I cant find anything on the net.

What am I missing?

7,500 miles is the interval for normal driving conditions (most people), 3,750 miles is the interval for severe conditions. Refer to Section 7 in your owner’s manual.

Wow talk about a huge oversight on my part. Thanks for the help, I somehow skipped this w/o noticing while scrolling.

Mine popped up the maintenance minder notice in the speedo screen at 5000 miles. I think I remember it gave indications prior to and it definitely does after the mileage point is hit as well. Mine alerts me how many miles I'm past due each time I start the car. Oops, I have an appt Sat morning Telly, quit being so fussy!

@MELISSAB , I can go you one better. I, too, started getting the dashboard notifications a little before 5,000 miles. Shortly thereafter, I received an email from my dealer that I had a service appointment scheduled, except that I hadn’t made one. Curious, I called the dealer and was told they had gone ahead and scheduled a “tentative” service appointment for me based on how long I had had the car. Since I had already planned on 5,000 mile oil changes anyway, and my dealer gives the firs year oil changes free, I went ahead and kept the appointment.

LOL at least they try to do the service on your car I want an early service on mine (3500 miles ) set the appointment thru UVO and never get call back from KIA of Downtown LA (south CA) call them and told me that they don't have the system to follow the appointments thru UVO. I also ask them time estimate to check the RECALL (seat belts) told me 1 to 5hrs to see if I need the replacements (not in stock)

No freebies here. I'm the office manager of an independent auto repair shop and have to pay for my work there too, although my mechanic sent me on my way back to the dealer when I mentioned needing the oil changed. He mostly works on beaters and didn't want to risk messing with my warranty. :) He did get a bit excited about having a reason to buy another tool for in the future when he saw there is a special adapter to remove the oil filter.

We're planning on them having mine all day Saturday as I ended up with a list of 9 things for them to do: lube-oil-filter, rotate tires, seat belt recall check, all 4 of the TSB Service Action checks, broken seat belt retainer clip and check into why my front middle left a/c vent whistles at me when it is high and looking in my direction. I expect I'll have to come back for the clip replacement at least but I hope the a/c thing is simple like a piece of plastic stuck somewhere it shouldn't be.
