• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello everyone,

I was planning on getting a FWD SX silver after the excitement dies down/supply goes up as I'm not willing to pay MSRP or more! but our situation has changed and now we need to get another vehicle in less than a month. We'd considered EX but I really like the idea of the blind view monitor, surround monitor, and extra sunroof. The other differences would be nice but those are my main interests between the two.https://solitaire.onl/ 9apps.ooo/ https://bluestacks.vip/

Given the short supply causing dealers around here to not want deal, I'm wondering what vehicles other forum members might suggest as being equivalent in features, size, and price. We need the third row, want to keep as much cargo as possible with 3rd row up, and want pretty much all the tech. I'm not looking for a minivan, ready for a change after driving them for 25 years, and not considering a Honda Pilot. We need to stay at 40K or below for cost. Would love any suggestions! Even a suggestion for websites that say this model and trim is equivalent to this other model and trim would be helpful. TIA!

Thank you!

Well if the blind view feature is the only thing keeping you from a Telluride then I would look at any other vehicle that has that feature at your price point, otherwise I would get the telluride without it.

I doubt if you would get blind spot monitor and dual sunroof in <$40K range for 3-row SUV (new).
Honda Pilot had blind spot monitor feature but they replaced it with radar based blind spot detection in recent year models.

In a month or so, you're highly unlikely to find a Telluride with your features at your price point. But, I would really look at the Ascent, Atlas, Traverse or Mazda CX-9 (a bit tighter on leg and cargo room, but still a compelling package). I think you can get a Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring for around 40K new (but you might consider a used (dealer demo?) Signature trim from 2018 - definitely under 40k). Mazda's sales have tanked this year, so they SHOULD be aggressive when selling at the end of June (end of Q2). I believe that I could find a new 2019 Signature for ~$42k (car price only, not OTD).

For the Atlas and the Ascent, you have to go to their upper trims to find the features, but you can get discounts on them - I believe the Atlas may come in a bit less expensive than the Ascent. I don't have a lot of knowledge about Traverse pricing - it has the largest back row - and storage - but GM can offer incredibly high discounts in the range of $6k. For the Atlas, Ascent and Traverse - you can get captains chairs. Not so for the CX-9.

I think it's a great time to look at those other models... once you decide, show up an hour or so before closing on the last day of the quarter... might really get a great deal! Q1 was pretty poor for sales overall - thought not necessarily in this class of SUV.

You could also just pick up a Sorento - probably get everything you want at the price you want - with Kia's discounts!

Check out the most recent edition of Consumer Reports - someone posted here - Consumer Reports. It lists all the competing models in this class.
