If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Just bought a 2020 Kia Telluride EX with rear-entry wheelchair conversion. Telluride had a little over 14k miles and the conversion was new. Bad time to be buying any kind of vehicle, but needed to switch out of the loud, bouncy van. The bouncing especially was bad because the tie-down location of the wheelchair was behind the rear wheels and my daughter had spinal fusion surgery at TCH in 2019. I'm betting she felt every bounce with the rods in her back. Anyway, looking at vans, found the Telluride (that I never knew existed before) and her wheelchair location puts her almost even with her brother in the 2nd row. (No 3rd row after the conversion.) She is much more stable now and the ride is much better than the van - probably any converted van. Only disappointment was noise. According to C.R., the Telluride is very quiet. Unfortunately, that is before the conversion. The floor in the back is essentially a steel box with no insulation and lots of noise comes through - tire noise, wind, road, etc. Working to fix that with some type of Dynamat product and and underbody sond-proof coating. I've also changed the headlights to LED which has dramatically improved the night time driving, but the low beam still has the same dramatic, defined length. Its just a lot brighter now from the car front to the defined "stop".

Looking now to put on some fog lights to help out the low beam lights.

A question I have. Tried to connect to the Kia Access and UVO, but it seems the previous owner already had an account. I did not see a way to delete it and enter my own data?

Hi! And, Welcome! I also stumbled upon the Telluride while looking at other vehicles.

However, your conversion is a first that I have seen for this vehicle! I don’t have any suggestions, but, this forum is very active, and it has a lot of members who are happy to contribute.

I also wish the best for your daughter and family. 🙏 🤗

You may need to call UVO customer care and speak to a person directly. I purchased my Telly used and needed to do this. It wasn't as painful as it could of been. Best of luck. For sound deadening, I would apply dynamat to every possible surface that was altered and then a carpeting on top. If this isn't enough, sound deadening underneath.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your new Telluride. I'm glad it's working out well for your daughter - and I'm sure you'll get the sound issues worked out. I'm glad you found us.

Looks great, your daughter is so lucky to have a father looking out to make her ride as comfortable as possible. 👍 I was surprised to see the conversion was possible with the 2nd row still intact.

Does the bumper portion in the middle extend and retract as well? Or is it always set inside like that for the ramp to function?

The bumper is always recessed. Haven't been inside an un-converted Telluride EX, but I don't think the second row seats are original. Isn't the second row on an EX a bench? Our 8 year old is usually the only one who sits there and he is in a booster seat (with a back) so I'm not sure how comfortable they are.

Thanks. That is nice how they were able to keep the original bumper and just make it recessed.

Second row can be configured with captain seats if the Premium package is added, so yes it is likely stock captain chairs.

This one is a regular EX (non-premium). Either way, those are surely not factory captain's chairs... there is waaaaaay too much room between them. They are tiny. I'd be surprised if they're even usable.

Good eye. Other giveaways for non-premium are the head lamps and wheel size.

What are the differences between a premium and non-premium EX? I'm sure they try to keep the "luxury" level low to minimize what gets deleted. My EX has a towing package per the sticker - but it isn't there anymore!
