• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Its not that I don’t think you got them. It’s whatever you did that’s shady to come ahead. Someone got hosed on that deal. Anyhow I don’t really care. Just your op sounds more like a nose rubbing than a glad to be here post. I could be wrong. Been wrong lots and I’ll be wrong again.
As previously mentioned, to each their own.

Sounds like: Hey man, I got to play with 3 Tellys and you guys got zero, and I made few g’s doing it while you guys had to pay $5k markups. Cause I work at the stealership and I am special. LOL

Yes, LOL indeed, welcome to the board kid.

Wow, lots of negativity here. I'm siding with OP because he didn't point the gun to anyone's head when selling his vehicles and making money off of it.

Come on. Give the OP a break here if you're not going to be welcoming him.

OP: Congrats on getting 3 Tellurides *and* making money off of them! Good for you.

Thank you. I never mentioned anything about making money off of them until my financial decisions were questioned. But it is what it is lol.

Guess I jumped out of line but as many people that were trying to get a telluride then some employee comes and rubs the people wrong I saying I am on my third one. I think I read where he sales cars so I should just take it with a grain of salt as a car salesperson
Anyway glad you got you a Telluride and we all will get one one day if we really want one

I wouldn't say you jumped too out of line... based on the comments so many people have about their dealership experiences in this forum. This type of behavior would seem par for the course at a Kia dealership. When I first inquired about the Telluride at a local dealership - the first round (including an SX prestige) were sold to folks affiliated with the dealership - probably an initial employee discount program - but still. Kind of tacky when there are plenty of customers waiting... but again par for the course.

Brian can help by posting his personal thoughts on the Telluride - or maybe helping to get customers on this forum aligned with incoming orders as fast as he aligned his purchase desires with incoming orders.

I’d be more than happy to help in any fashion within my power. Most things for me was the right place and the right time. I always intended to sell my first one and trade up the EX almost immediately, but never the EX. A customer specifically asked to purchase THAT one. And there wasn’t another white ex coming in.

Hey Forum!

Hope posting this is okay! Just joined!

I’ve had 3 Tellurides so far!

An S FWD in Snow White Pearl (on the right)

Shortly after that I traded for the SWP EX and then wrapped the roof (on the left). Traded that in a month later and below is my newest. Ebony Black SX FWD with Butterscotch interior!

I am a dealership employee but these were not demos. They were all leased by me personally. :)

I’m not here for sales but happy to answer any behind the scene questions.

Nice job on the wrap and welcome!
What does the wrap cost.

Yeah, it's crazy to have a customer ask to buy yours and pay over market for a technically used car. But, as you said, you've never seen anything like this market. I posted some comparison sales numbers in another thread - it is a white hot segment in the U.S.

Some of us may be just a bit jealous, and somewhat jaded from some of our dealership experiences, but there are good dealers out there! In the end, I am excited for you, and look forward to hearing about your experiences with the car. And yes, that wrap was a really neat addition.

Can’t even imagine what would be going on in someone’s head when they intended to buy a brand new car and went to the dealer and demanded a used version from the sale person for MSRP. I’d rather be one of the crazy people buying an SXP from $12k above MSRP. At least then I’m paying my own inflated depreciation and not letting my sales guy double dip on me to profit on his own sale and make commission.
