Hi everyone. Just purchased and took delivery of Snow White Telluride last week. So far we love it. Took a long road trip and it's smooth, fast and very quiet. Mileage was about 24 per gallon. I also noticed the maintenance recommendations are for oil / filter and cabin filter every 7,500 miles. Was surprised to see it since I've always thought cars recommended oil etc every 3,500 miles. I'll watch it and decide later since I only have 650 miles on it. I am curious about options for the cabin filter. In the past they charge an arm and a leg at the oil shops. I'd rather do it myself. I'll keep searching and post when I find one.

since it comes with synthetic you should be able to go more miles with this type of oil. My wife's 2005 Crossfire use the Mobil Synthetic and it says 7500 miles also. I would think the cabin filter is really a choice to change at every oil change.

I don't think oil change at Kia is fully synthetic. I believe it's synthetic blend. Since I drive mostly local, back and forth to work, I plan to do oil change every 6 months regardless of miles.

The oil in my Benz from the factory was mobile one (synthetic) and the recommended oil changes every 10,000 miles.

Welcome! I’m at 7400 mi. and have my first oil change next week. My Hyundai Elantra has an Atkinson cycle engine and I do every 10,000 mi. for oil changes. As for the cabin filter, I’m trying to figure out the same thing:
