• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Do we have any info on price changes yet?

Also, no new paint/interior color changes?
No information as of yet on pricing.. they will release this at a later date and may unveil other changes.

This happened last year the same way.. some things on first update were actually changed.... this information is really for sales side and they will have another update for consumer side.

Gotcha! Really appreciate all the info!!!

The 10.25-inch Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) touch screen display with three-way split-screen functionality is now standard on all trims

All trims now have standard navigation*

Dual-zone automatic temperature control and rear automatic temperature control are now standard on all trims

Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control-Curve* (NSCC-C) and Highway Driving Assist* (HDA) are now standard across the board

The S trim now comes standard with a wireless phone charger*

EX Premium has High Beam Assist* (Another change after reviewing material)
Breaks my heart a little that the SXP trim is becoming less special from the lower trims. These upgrades will make a lot of other customers happy though.

Need to mentally prepare for all the new members that post “Well I have an LX trim and I have navigation”, and all the responses that will follow “That was not an option before the 2022 MY”. 🤦‍♂️

Maybe this will drive more sales to LX and help them catch up with production backlog on higher trims. I also bet there'll be a base price bump on lower trims to compensate for this, probably not so much on EX and SX.

If this is true, I'm thinking of deleting nightfall from my Dark Moss SX order. The main reason I want nightfall is for black wheels and grill ...
Go for it.

Dark Moss looks so much better without the Nightfall.

The black SX wheels with the classic chrome trim rocks (a.k.a. Tom Kearns Edition) 🥳

Is Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control-Curve (NSCC-C) worth it? I have a 2021 slated for early July and this seems like the only difference for the SX line.

Thanks to Stephen and the Facebook dude for the updates. Two things are puzzling me, however...

- Why mention tri-screen capability when it’s been removed for a while, unless there are plans to reinstitute it? I won’t upgrade because I like the three-way split screen, and while the retro XM interface is cool, I want the option to go back to the “classic” interface.

- With the lower trims getting a big upgrade of the 10.25” screen and built-in nav (hallelujah for all, I hate the fake phone only nav systems), is Kia planning a bigger price increase for the lower trims, or do they have a surprise or two in store for the higher trims?

I guess all will be revealed soon...

The LX has a Gloss Black Front Grille with Chrome Trim. S, EX, and SX have the Gloss Black Front Grille with Satin Chrome Trim
I’ve always tempted but questioned the value of NF for SX. $1300 for some blackout trims (and being forced to buy AWD, not my case) with a different set of black wheels that is debatable if better looking or not, and not any wider or lighter. Now with the grill being black as standard, i hope they lower the NF price.

but if dealer call and tell me they have what I ordered but with NF now, i’ll get it 😁

Hi, Thanks for the update. I have a question related to the emblem. Does this mean that the new emblem will come for the nightfall edition? What means revised Kia badging for all trims?

Thanks,
Daniel

Kia revised their logo - see the new Kia Carnival to see what that new logo looks like.
Thanks for the reply. I know that, but I was wondering what means new emblem for the nightfall edition??

I hate both logos. New and old.

Got the 2020 LX here. Besides the terrible headlights, the auto-climate would have been my next wish. I like my carplay google maps.

I am surprised there is no powertrain upgrade option for the higher trim levels. Crazy that my $33K version has the same engine as the $55K version...

Will keep you all posted as we know information..

Looks like we are one step closer.

Got a memo today saying all unfilled 2021 Telluride Order Request(In Kdealer) are going to be deleted.

This does not effect people whose orders are in KFOS for 2021's and already have ETA's.

This indicates 2022 information is about to be released.

We as dealers will need to purify our list(call all clients that have orders pending to see if they are still wanting Telluride.)

For those that are still valid and waiting we will re-enter as 22 Tellurides and adjust if clients are wanting to change color, options, etc..

WE will enter these FIFO to keep clients who have waited the longest as priority.

This is a good sign that ball is moving in right direction.

Will update as mentioned before, as news comes.

Below are some of the changes for 2022 models.

What's New

All trims feature revised Kia badging

The Nightfall Edition has redesigned emblems and wheel caps

The LX has a Gloss Black Front Grille with Chrome Trim. S, EX, and SX have the Gloss Black Front Grille with Satin Chrome Trim

The 10.25-inch Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) touch screen display with three-way split-screen functionality is now standard on all trims

Appears LX and S models will not have 2nd and 3rd row usb ports according to material(This could change on final update)
I thought HDA is available in 2021 EX & SX models. It seems they are expanding it to the rest of the models now. Any insight if they are rolling out HDA2, which also support lane changes or basic HDA?

I noticed that Kia's YouTube channel just dropped a bunch of new videos. I haven't seen enough of the vehicles to be able to tell which vehicles they were demonstrating the features from... Maybe some of you with a sharper eye could glean some more information?

You have a link?

None of those videos are truly new. They just re-posted a bunch of old videos but changed the Kia logo on the on-screen visuals.

For example: compare old vs new.

Thanks for the update! It’s good to see some changes coming our way.
