• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Nightfall badge swap

He's the answer to the 2021 NF front emblem - I just changed my today. Possibly the same for all 2021 Telluride's. Someone will need to look at a non-NF trim to confirm.

The front emblem for the 2021 NF now only clicks into 4 slots directly onto the grill. There is no more secondary plate to remove. Here's the catch, because you can't get your hand around the backside of the grill, the 4 clips will break off when you pry the original emblem off. However, if you ever want to put the original Kia emblem back on, simply apply 3M double tape.

Even though I slightly damaged the bottom of the emblem holder, that's why I started at the bottom, I think it's worth breaking the clips. My new carbon fiber emblems (front and back) look great.

Below are pics at each step of the front emblem replacement plus a pic of the new rear emblem.

I'm really have a hard time getting flat head, and trim tool in there on the front. The plastic is bending all around so I stopped for now. What tools /technique did you use on the front?

Just the standard trim removal tools available on amazon or your local parts store.

Just work a little bit at a time and stick a tool head in the gap and move down further. Repeat until you get all around the emblem.

Quick question for anyone who has tried to swap standard Kia badges on a non-nightfall Telly for Nightfall badges that have clips broken....

Were you successful just using 3m double-sided tape to get the badge to stick to the front emblem holder that is attached to the grill? I'm worried the curvature of the badge won't allow for a proper bond with the flat emblem holder on my current grill. Any other strategies you've utilized?

I'm about to put these Carbon fiber emblems on my 2020 Telluride. I'm too chicken to do it myself so found a body shop to do it for $50. They told me the clips on the OEM badges will definetly break off but good tip about keeping them anyway and reapplying with 3M adhesive if need to resell later.
