• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... November update available for download

I'm getting a decompression error when downloading the most recent update. I have tried numerous times, wifi, hardwire, deleting the files and updater. Nothing seems to work, contacted customer service who know about the problem but only solution they gave was try another computer of purchase the update for $25 plus shipping.

Wondering if you ever found a solution.
Sorry no real solution for me. One day I gave it another try and it worked with no problem. I used he same computer, wifi connection and it just worked.

I think the key word here is Wi-Fi. There are all sorts of things that can interfere with a download and cause file corruption. Rebooting the modem and/or router will sometimes fix it. If you can see alot of other SSID's being broadcast in your area then your channel might get stomped on like mine does on a weekly basis which is why I have my router set to automatically restart every night.
