To me, if something has real style (like fancy cove moldings in a house), make it stand out. If the fuel filler door looks cool to you, go for it. If it were an interesting filler, like those on an Audi TT, it looks cool to stand out. The door on the Telluride doesn't say anything artistic to me, so I wouldn't do it.

So why you gotta be an idiot about it? Simply tried something and was 50/50 on it. Looked good on darker durango.I don't get it? Why would you do that? The gas door is very easy to find when you are standing at the pump. Is this for someone who is "challenged" in some way!?! Maybe they shouldn't be driving if they can't find the gas cap door.

He was probably offended by your “challenged” answer. He was asking yay or nay on the blacked out gas filler cap, it had nothing to do with not being able to find the gas gap. Just like others trying things to continue the nightfall theme.Kao said:

Requested it not be put on. And honestly it is coming off just havent taken it on yet. I always hate taking these off and ended up with a small scratch on last one so its on the list.Well here‘s one thing we can ALL agree you should remove... the “crain automotive” advertising your dealer slapped on your trunk. I wouldn’t have given them a single cent of my downpayment until they removed that!

most members here are not "modders" enthusiasts know that most manufacturers have after market carbon fiber gas doors available , its a real thing and with a black theme like the Nightfall is works perfectly !

apply some heat with a hair dryer and pick it off carefully with your fingernails , buff out the residue with some cleaner wax on a micro fiber cloth, gone !

It's off for now. Prob will redo in a couple weeks when I have time to do the shark fin and couple other spots inside and on door sills. Thanks for support.
