Order 20 of 90?!

My KIA sales rep told me today that my order (from June 27th) was "order 20 out of 90" for SX AWD models. Does anyone know what that refers to!? Been very patient so far but recently have been calling dealer for more info (i.e. order acceptance, VIN number, etc) but they seem clueless.

Could be an internal count - at that dealer. And they are expecting it to be allocated later. Since it was just ordered a little over a month ago, they may not have any information yet - it may not have been accepted for build yet.

uh...doesn't that mean the you are in front of 70 people in line for the SX AWD? That's better than the 90th person!

I hope not, this is a small dealership in eastern Ohio, I can’t imagine they have 90 other orders right now.

That’s what the sales person told me after they said they didn’t know what it meant!
