I ordered my SX prestige this morning!! Was told 3-4 months!

I ordered my SXP Aug 3rd and was told 6-8 weeks. As of this past Thursday I was told that I am looking at a possible January delivery date with all the holidays coming up.

Friday I snagged a surprise allocated SXP from the dealer I ordered from that rolled off the truck right before I called to move my deposit to a allocated SXP with a delivery date of 12/16.

SXP orders are not being filled and every dealership knows how insane the demand is for this truck.

$8000 mark up here in TX. The dealership had the very one I wanted on the lot but would not come down. Instead I had to order the same car to get a reasonable price. Kind of crazy.

You state reasonable price. Is the dealer still charging you a markup even though you're ordering the car?

Into my 11th week of waiting on a SXP AWD. No ETA yet. Had to drive in my 2WD sedan this morning with the road covered in Ice. Guess, I will be getting the Palisade if any of the dealers can promise me ready delivery!

I ordered an SXP from them a few days before you ordered. Have no production news yet. Anecdotally, from this forum, it seems as though the "P"'s do take longer to produce.

i placed my order on the 16 th. Hope mine follows soon. Although I may have to have it shipped if it’s in December. I planned on driving out there no sure it would be possible in December!

I got very lucky.....walked into the dealer on Oct. 21.....they said they had an "allocated" Black copper, SX P that I could put 500 on and hold if I wanted it.....did it.....today got word that the VIN has been generated and looking at a possible early Dec. delivery!

Gives me hope that black copper is on the line in production. Someone said that they produced mass quantities of each color at a time on the line. Not sure if that’s true. Did u get a dune interior??

Apparently the Dune interior ( which I would have liked) ramps up the difficulty......like I said, mine was "dealer allocated" and they specified "black" interior which I will accept.
