[/QUOTE Being on website does not mean much. It could be a manual entry or load on its own. We can get invoices a couple of weeks before vehicle shows.

For me, VIN creation to delivery was 3 weeks. I never saw mine show up in an inventory. The closer it gets, the harder it is to wait!

Just was notified that my delivery date has moved from Dec. 5 to Nov. 30! Sales guy said..."at this point in the process, it really could be any day between now and then" . All good news!!!

How do you know it’s yours? Did the dealer notify you? Or did you happen to just see it show up? (Could be someone else’s if they haven’t notified you)

What is the normal wait time for a telluride s, with tow package ordered end of July. I have waited 4 months for car already and was told I’d get it in 2-4 months. Now after 4months I’m being told it will be another 4 after my vin is created. Seems crazy long. Is this normal?

Doesn't sound right at all. I ordered end of August, was recently told order was allocated and accepted, with an ETA of 12/28. No VIN yet, once VIN is created my understanding is 30 days max.... Sounds like someone didn't place your order or sold it out from underneath you... I would be furious if they told me 8 months total wait time..

So, the more I think about this the more upset I get. I went to a dealership they had the SXP AWD sitting on the lot. I wanted it but they had $7995 mark up on it. I told them I wasn’t paying that so they brought it down to $2000 over. I still said no. They said I could order one at MSRP. So I did. I noticed on the paperwork that the price was $2000 over invoice. And they charged me $2000 deposit to order. So I called this morning and canceled the order. I found another dealership with the same thing and got it under MSRP. They are detailing it as I type this and I’ll be driving it home. Beware of those who are playing games. It’s hard to navigate out there. Many thanks to Ryan at Huffines Kia in Dentin, TX for being honest and transparent.

Joining the conversation. Ordered my Telluride today in Madison, WI. Dealer gave me $500 under MSRP and gave me the Kia Reference # right away. Hoping to see it in March before our lease is up! I'll post here with any developments. Thanks all for the tips/ pointers and thoughts.

I ordered a Telluride July 5th. Selma, California. Currently no update on when I will get it. The dealership did say that in their system it shows on top of the list but I have no clue what that means. SX Gravity Grey, light gray interior. I have a deal# and a Customer ID#. In July my estimated cost was $48,097. I was hoping to get it this month.

You need the request ID brother. They could potentially load this and not hit submit. I've seen it before.

Wow. Get info from? How about the Manufacturer! Does not keep them! LMAO. It never leaves the system once the order is placed. This is why KIA struggles at times to get new customers. You have dealers like this that sell to the Rio customer all day long. Can't handle the premium buyer. This happened with Stinger as well.
