GWP is in production! Although all but one is NE, one step closer to my GWP!

I’m looking at one now, it says sold to Al but ship to MI! Never seen this before

That's odd, maybe a trade? My dealer was looking to see if nearby dealers wanted to trade for my preference before I placed an order

THE EAGLE HAS LANDED !!! Here's my story....

May 14th - Placed order at my local dealer @ msrp
May 15th - They called me back and informed me no orders are being taken as a result of the Covid shut down and the model yr change
Weekly - I persistently called to see if orders opened up yet. (many calls unanswered and no response)
July 13th - Found out through this forum that orders for what i was wanting opened up. Called my local dealer and said place my order. He said let me check on that to confirm. He called me back and said I am correct so he took my deposit and my order. (which btw changed from our first choice after we saw the SWP NE on this forum) I assumed my order went in because in May he said he will not take a deposit until it can be ordered. When asking numerous times for proof of my order, I received no proof of anything.
Aug 13th - I tried to get an answer again and said I want to know when my order will go in KFOS and how many are in front of me waiting to be placed. Will it be Aug, Sept or later. Got a blow off message from the manager with BS which really pissed me off, basically telling me they will contact me when the order goes in with no time frame at all. I was done with them at that point !
Aug 14th - I found a sticker on Failcat of what we were looking for going to a dealer 5 hrs away from us. I called them Sat 8/15 and spoke to the Sales Manager and she said actually there is no name on this one as of yet. I told her I want it, Gave a deposit and she said it will be there in 10 days and I will have 24hrs to pick it up once it arrives, I said SOLD, call me when it comes in. It came in Late Tuesday evening, they prepped it yesterday and I flew down this morning and drove it home TODAY !!!
Is that a record ? 12 days from find to possession ! SX AWD T NE SWP Espresso Brown. And ONLY 500.00 over msrp ! View attachment 9644

After reading about all the delays and seeing that the last SX-Prestige was build on 8/5 I feel terrible for the ones who have been waiting months for their car. Can't believe how lucky I was to have found my telly out of the blue!!!! enjoying every mile on this beautiful car, hang in there people definitely worth the wait.....

Fyi, your dealer has absolutely zero influence or control regarding your order, when it is built or when it is delivered.

That was the same scenario when I ordered a new Corvette - dealer had no control.
