If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Order to delivery time

My first ETA out of KFOS was 2.5 months. Has now pushed to over 3. EXs are coming slower these days...
At least you have an ETA that you can track. That's my main point - if actually accepted into KFOS, there is an ETA, not a 4-5 month estimate.

You got one already allocated to them? My order went to KFOS in September (11th), Initial ETA 11/27, then 12/11, now 12/15 :(
Yep. I actually emailed them to place an order, and they had a few available to them that weren't already spoken for. So I grabbed it. It wasn't the exact color I wanted, but it worked out.

If you’re close to Dallas. Huffines Kia of McKinney and Corinth are offering MSRP, painless experience. 3 month turnaround for me
Thanks for suggesting them. I just placed an order over the phone with the SA and he was very helpful. Hopefully, I can get my vehicle soon.

How long after the order is accepted by the factory (which i assumed meant it was in KFOS) do they issue a VIN? Is that something my salesperson would have?

The VIN is created when it goes into paint. That is about a month before the ETA depending on how close your dealers is to the factory.

Awesome! Hope everything works out. They’re actually offering the same extended warranty for less than Muncie. You have to specifically request it though.

Originally ordered August 10 and received ETA of November 10.

Re-ordered a different color September 3 and got to the back of the line.

Just received a new ETA of November 30!

Having it shipped from I 25 Kia in Denver Colorado to my home in Northern California.

I don't get these ETAs! Presumably, your new order was picked up this week in KFOS? and you got an eta of Nov. 30th? I got picked up in September and got 11/27. Now Dec. 15. I wonder if different dealers are put to the top of the production line...

@StephenCantrelle without asking my sales person (I've tried) - is there anyway to know the orders processed in kdealer awaiting acceptance in kfos for a specific dealership?

Question, I’m watching failcat, and if these Tellurides are being produced around 500 a day then why doesn’t failcat list 500 new vins each day? Seems like the factory is only producing custom ordered vehicles and not extras for the dealers lots? I ordered one mid September from a dealer who has ordered over 300. I’m trying to understand how this ordering process works. Thanks

Good to hear. Just ordered a ‘22 to replace our ‘20 telluride from them yesterday.

Because failcat only shows US production of Tellurides. Other countries received them, too.

Can you please let me know name of the person to contact. I contacted Corinth. I reached out to some one who went into markup mode again.

Huffines, Markup? News to me. From my experience this would be a shock. Whom did you talk? There are several SA’s that people have used at this dealership (whom I have read about on this forum). My salesman was Jeremy Rosado. There were no markups, no surprises and no purchase requirements, at anytime during the process.

Just got my ETA of Dec 5. Ordered mid July from Huffines Kia Corinth and changed my order a couple times, the last of which was mid August.

Michael Wheeler is my salesman. MSRP selling price with no dealer adds. Only requirements were a $500 refundable deposit and at least two factory accessories be selected with the order (floor mats, cargo net, etc.).

Ordered an S trim from Carlos at I25 October 13th. Hoping to get it before Christmas!

I spoke with Martin Houston at Huffines Mckinney. Everything was done over the phone and email.
