Oh boy, you said Kia of Irvine? I finally picked up my gravity Grey SX with black interior from there after it was “lost” somewhere between GA & So Cal for almost 2 weeks. I absolutely LOVE the vehicle and fortunately I had an honest salesperson, but the finance guy (Sammy) is deceitful, slimy & a blatant liar to my face. BE CAREFUL and triple check the paperwork before you sign. He had to reprint it 2 times for me as I found what he called “mistakes”. The first was a base price $1000 more than I was told by my salesperson. The second time was for the $1500 security system that he begged me to buy for only $395 since they pre-install on all Tellurides. I politely said no and when he re-printed the paperwork, surprise!, it was still listed there. There’s an even longer story regarding trying to screw me out of a decent finance rate because I have a credit rating on “only” 853! Oh yeah, I was putting down a pretty sizable deposit of $13k, which hadn’t changed from day one when speaking with my salesperson. When I pulled out a credit card to use, which I’ve always done with the last 4 BMW’s I’ve had, he said they only took money order or check because they don’t like paying the credit card fees. Well, I live up in LA and nobody mentioned that to me (which is incredibly bad customer service anyway). After I told him that I didn’t have a check, he made a big production about having to call the GM to get approval as a one time exception since I drove so far. He also lied to me about the required oil change interval when trying to sell me the maintenance plan. He told me the oil needed to be changed every 3-4K miles since this engine wasn’t like a BMW. I asked to explain why so frequently and he spun a story. When I got home and read the manual, it very clear that the standard interval is actually 7,500 miles. When I confronted him about this, he said that it was my “option” to get it changed every 3-4K miles and 7,500 was the max. I told him to stop the lies & BS since he knew exactly what he told me to get me to purchase the maintenance plan that supposedly paid for itself. I could go on even more....

Can't recall when I got VIN for sure, it is documented here if you read back through my posts but I believe it may have been 6/21 which is also the build date on the metal plate in my door
7/9 received car at dealer
Hope this helps, I know how painful the wait can be even though my experience was pretty good

I've seen the mood lighting standard on the SX. I'm looking forward that. My kids will love that. Does your add on illuminate the entire floor board? There was hardly any information on the accessory page on Kia's website.....just that one picture, which is why I passed.
I did add the illuminated scuff plate. Did you add that option as well?

Oh yes - I added the illuminated scuff plate (which was totally worth it) - as for the mood lighting I don't see that it lights up anything different - yes it has a light on the floor board - and maybe I am wrong but I think that is already part of the mood lighting built in - only thing I can see different is that I can mix custom colors. I wish someone would correct me but I don't think it is much of an add-on.

The experience is definitely difficult, mainly because everyone’s story is so different. Hoping to have my car early August for a road trip. But that’s highly unlikely. Fingers crossed though!
I ordered a moss green sx prestige with Dune interior and tow package on March 3rd. According to the dealer the order has not been accepted yet. Does anyone know if this is a production issue or a dealer issue?

I noticed you got the interior light kit from the factory. I got mine at the dealer. Mine does the footwell and the cup holders and is controlled thru a button in the little storage area just in front of the cup holders. As far as I can tell it is not integrated into the menu system. The mood lighting in my SXP that is in the door panels is controlled thru the menu system. I was wondering whether the factory installed interior light kit is the same as the dealer installed interior light kit. Do you have the button for it located in the storage area (almost looks like a cup holder) just in front of the cup holders? The button lets you cycle thru different colors. Also, does yours light up your cup holders?

I do - I assumed all SX got that - do they not? - are the footwell and cup holders only on the upgrade - I have those too.

I ordered the exact same thing MOSS SX Butterscotch except without tow in mid may and still no acceptance for me.... oh well, the wait continues.
The interior light kit adds the footwells and the cup holders. The button lets you cycle thru 16 different colors.
We ordered exact same with AWD. They dealer says it was accepted last week. We are in Maryland.
Hi, You can add me to the list of frustrated Telluride fans waiting on the car they ordered. I placed my order for an SX, AWD with no tow in Moss Green with the prestige package in Dune on April 5. I have been erroneously told at the beginning of May it was "due in soon" and that it was "port allocated" at the end of June. Went to my dealer today and they could not tell me a thing. No VIN, no port allocation, just that it was "in process". I am very tired of hearing about Nappa leather. I guess the Nappa is now an endangered specie.
Has anyone been able to find a way to learn more about your order besides depending on the dealer? Contact Kia direct somehow?
