Just wanted to post this for anyone who is interested. Received this from my salesman last evening. Located at Moritz Kia in Ft. Worth. I am fairly sure the sticker is the same as the vehicle, but could be wrong.

Ordered a black SXP with Grey interior on April 7th from Omaha. Just got a call that it arrived today. Unfortunately I’m out of town in Georgia/SC so will have to wait to pick it up for another week. Rats, bad timing.

On another note, I saw two Tellurides between Iowa and Georgia and have seen tons while I’m here. Seems like Georgia has the most T’s. Must be producing and keeping in the same state.

Got the call from the dealer today saying our Order has been fulfilled! Said delivery date is August 3 but expect it to be a few weeks after that date. We ordered May 10 SXP in Gravity Grey exterior and grey interior. Really surprised as I thought we wouldn't be seeing it until October haha

I ordered a gravity grey EX with black interior and towing package on May 10th as well. No delivery date in sight. Dealer won’t even give me an update. Not happy

Well I am officially fed up.

I ordered an SXP, dark moss with dune interior on April 22nd. After 3 months of waiting I got my VIN yesterday. When I generated the window sticker I noticed it said black interior. Dune usually does but usually under the additional equipment section it will say something about SX dune brown leather seats. Mine does not. So without actually seeing the vehicle, it seems as though Kia fulfilled my order with the wrong interior.

Waiting to hear back from Kia via my dealer to see what’s going on.

About a month ago, I passed on a non-prestige because I was holding out on my original order so I could get the dune interior. In that case Kia also screwed up because the dealer (different dealer) had the vehicle but couldn’t sell it because they didn’t have the manufacturer statement of origin from Kia yet. Kia mailed it out snail mail and the dealer didn’t get it until over a week after the truck was dropped off at the dealer. But I digress..

What would you do in my shoes? Settle on the black interior prestige or possibly wait a few more months (hope it doesn’t come to that) for the dune?

Just to follow up on this, my dark moss/dune SXP order was indeed fulfilled with a dark moss/black SXP. Will be in Aug 5th. Dealer said Kia will still allot them a dune one as well but it could be another 2-3 months.

We are in Virginia but I'm a UF alum, hence Gator in my username. . . Maybe they are doing all the Gravity Grey exterior? Also was this the first you'd heard of your order? This was the first time we heard since we placed it. All other emails came back from dealer saying waiting on info.

Oh okay! No, we have had really good contact throughout. For the most part, it has been weekly contact to let us know any changes in the ETA date or even if nothing changed.

Ordered: May 7, 2019 with $15K down, Accepted the following Monday was told delivery should be by July 4.
July 4 told of production delays, possible delivery in another 8-12 weeks.
July 15 told a temp vin was assigned
July 22 told they needed to prove I was a real person due to so many fake orders and everything had to be submitted.
July 24 told that it was on the train, delivery between August 24-September 24.

I don't know where this train is lol but this forum has made me feel better that I'm not the only one sitting here waiting!

Your dealer made you put down a 15k deposit? I don’t think I’ve ever heard that happen before. Do you have anything in writing from them in regard to what you will pay for the vehicle?

I don't know the "official" amount yet, but I own my own business and have purchased 5 cars from Boucher in the last 4 years, so I'm getting it for invoice was what we initially talked about (hence why I went with the Prestige)
