Order to delivery time

Ordered SXP/AWD w/ green moss/sand dune early this week. Was told to expect 60-90 days as Kia stopped producing Sorento completely and is using the production line to produce more Tellurides instead. Fingers crossed!

Good luck for waiting. I ordered mine 8 weeks ago, and mine has NOT even been accepted. My dealer said it has been accepted, but it was just a total lie. So nothing shit happened for the last 8 weeks. Make sure you follow up weekly with your dealer.
I'm gonna go to the dealer and get my deposit back so I either start a new process or move on to a different car

I wish my dealer was like you man. He has never updated until I asked for it. When I asked for it, he never responds right away and it has been driving nuts.

Typically updates from KIA come out on Friday's. At least that's what we've been seeing. All we can do is wait on the KIA God's to send us a message.

Mine said every Mondays, but he has never updated any status unless I asked for it. When I asked for an acceptance confirmation of the order, he sent me a copy of order request which I already have had. So basically nothing happened for the last 8 weeks and he has made a false statement.

Although customers call weekly, come on. Some are spending over $50,000 and dealers can't even spend 1 or 2 minutes of conversation of their order? I know dealers are busy as well, but it shouldn't be a big deal to spend couple minutes over the phone out of 40 hours work with their customers.

An update to my prior comment about questioning if the order was placed. I just received a call from the manager asking about the specifics of my order because he did not know if the order was placed or not. He said he would place it today.... Looks like my suspicion was correct.

It looks like everyone is ordering SX with prestige at the moment. I feel like it is making me feel more at ease knowing someone who ordered before me has not received any updates yet as well.

Jason, this is off topic, but I can't seem to find any information at all about the front skid plate. It shows as an option on the Kia site, but I don't see that anyone has had luck actually ordering/getting it, nor can I find any pictures of it. Can you provide any info on that?

I was told this wasn't able to be ordered when I ordered mine. Was going to try and get it later when it became available.

It's not on the accessory site, so I'm guessing it's a factory-installed option only. I'm sure there are after-market options though, or will be soon enough.
