Was never given the VIN by the dealer, found that on my own using lookup site. I had no warning at all, despite a few sent emails hadn't heard from them since was given my original ETA back in March. Then just randomly got the call that my car was here. That VIN has the towing package, which I didn't order but would have taken, so maybe someone else fell through like me and they tried to pass it to me? Who knows. Fairfax Kia very good in terms of being fast apparently and they're only dealer around here not charging several thousand over MSRP, which is awesome. But communication is not their strong suit.

It doesn’t seem like communication is KIA’s strong suit overall.

Ordered a Gravity Grey SX-P AWD on 2/8. Before COVID shutdown, was given an ETA of 4/20. Got the call yesterday saying my car is here, which was super fast and awesome EXCEPT like a lot of people right now, I've been furloughed from my job. Buying a $50K car when not making any money is not smart, so I unfortunately had to pass on it which is killing me after all the waiting.

That sucks. I feel for you. But you are making the right call. Buying a new car if your job isn't secure is financial suicide.

Too bad I am not up in that area - that is what I have on order. But at this point I am slated to get a 2021 when KFOS opens back up.

That and the fact that the dealers on this forum have gone largely silent over the past few days. I get it that they don't know much either...but not much comments about the fact that all things KIA Telluride have gone dark from them.

If they have - then they are just going to give back the gains they made in the segment. People still have to buy cars. If the one they want isn't being manufactured or at a dealership - buyers will go to plan B.

I hope not and you’re right. I’m already starting to think about plan b that’s ridiculous!!

Looks like 50 VINs popped up just a little bit ago on the tracker. I’m hoping that all this is just due to a glitch, especially since the tool says that no new VINs populated in the last hour, yet somehow the next sentence says 50 new VINs created in the past 24 hours.

I vaguely recall seeing that someone on this site can track the transport of a vehicle once you have a VIN number, is that possible? My VIN just showed up today!

Ahhhh, so jealous! Congrats though! I know I'll be so excited the day mine pops up, but then I know I'll be in another fresh hell playing the wait game for arrival to my dealership.
