If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Order to delivery time

They are telling the truth, showing in dealer stock.. I had one do the same and showed dealer stock on Monday and just arrived today.
I think it has to do with the factory being closed for last week and therefore transport trucks got timing messed up.. It happens.. rare but happens.. should be there any day in my opinion
We had two Telluride that got dropped off at the wrong Train yard and got them 3 weeks late. Mistakes like this happen but it is rare.

Feel your pain. It's all to common with KIA Dealerships.

It's really sad. I kept telling the dealer - I understand all the issues - but PLEASE just communicate with me... all i ask

What's the deal are the old orders for 2020 are they automatically converted to 2021's? Also if they have to reorder them is that open to all dealers or only a select few?

Based on everyone's experience, looking for some advice. We are approaching the end of the lease on our 20178 GMC Acadia Denali on Aug 19th. I can extend the lease for as much as 6 months in 1-2 month increments. If I placed an order this week, is it likely or unlikely we would have one delivered by the end of the year? I would be ordering from Huffines Kia Corinth. If not, my wife wants another Acadia Denali...

TheCarConnection article is a good read on the supply/demand situation.

Only about 700 Tellurides listed at the end of June with the already low 11 day turn rate dropping to 0 days.

Things should improve as production gets ramped up to 100k, as long as there are no Covid outbreaks at WP.

Which Trim and package are you considering ordering

SX V6 Prestige, Black Ext/Ebony Int
Huffines Corinth is great group.. Donovan hasn't been on here in a while but he is a great guy to deal with and has a lot of people here who liked him.. I would check first how many people are infront of you for SX AWD.. last I heard when 2020's got dropped they had a 80 person wait list... If that is still the case unlikely you will get by March if not longer... I only have 24 orders in queue and would have a hard time promising this year.. Corinth and I (Carrollton) are on the higher end for volume dealers as well.

That is good info to know - thank you! Might have to get the Acadia after all and then the Telluride next time around... Can't go without a vehicle if it would be unlikely to get one by Feb. We are in the Houston area and all the dealers here are marking up their Tellurides which is something we are not willing to pay.

Yeah its a catch 22... find a dealer who works at MSRP but wait list is usually unreal because of that.. again if you haven't spoken to anyone yet from the Huffines group reach out to @DonovanHuffinesCorinth and ask to see how many are in line

I spoke with Madyson at Kia Corinth, but we are not tied to any dealer, just a dealer that sells at MSRP ideally in TX (Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Houston areas).

Thanks! Good to know about Arapahoe Kia. Oddly enough, when I search the inventory through the official Kia website, I-25 Kia doesn’t even come up as a dealership, but when I go to the I-25 Kia website they have 18 Tellurides in their inventory listed (likely all spoken for). Just interesting.
Just got an update from I-25 Kia. They said they will be placing my order with Kia on Monday 7/13 as that’s when new allocations are opening up and I am number 7 on their list of SX-P’s. From there they expect a 4-6 month wait time (they are a very high allocation dealer). Definitely better than I was expecting, we’ll see how it turns out. I’ve waited almost 14 months to get this car since the first time I ordered it. My brain is telling me to settle with an Atlas or something else, but my heart says that I’ve waited this long, what’s another 6 months?

I was in that delima too between Atlas and Telly. Test drove both and I say I was very impressed with the drive of the Telly. Atlas felt way too bulky for a SUV imo. This is coming from someone that has drive movings trucks for a living. I placed a deposit a while back and just call the dealer like once a month even though I already know what they will tell. This forum has more answers than most dealers will ever have...

Hey Stephen, have you heard any news like Cho-le mentioned about ordering opening up on the 13th ?
Timing is right. Makes sense. Nothing official yet.. so they are more than likely making best educated guess.. which I agree with

Just spoke with gunther Kia/ft. Lauderdale about my March order. Internet sales manager said he’d have to ask the district manager about whether I could change color or not. 🤔😂

I feel somewhat certain I will never actually get my order from them. My deposit should be paying me interest instead of serving as working capital for them.
