Order to delivery time

Its pinstriping, very common on every car. And the chrome protector is standard, its a gray bumper color that looks identical to the chrome one thats an accessory you can order.

Also are the scuff plates in the door jambs in the NE darker like he says? Don't remember reading that. But then again not all NE delivered vehicles Ive seen have the black lug nuts installed either.

Yes its in the announcement kia have on their website, black scuff plates. The thing is like you said ive seen some videos with nf edition and chrome nuts! Do you think because they ordered wheel locks! We need clarification on that

I'm curious how long you waited or are currently waiting for an ordered Telluride? And what trim did you order?

I did not order. I researched / lurked for about a month, did some failcat snooping and dealer outreach, and talked privately with some of the dealers here about units they had, or the possibility of ordering with them. Decided that getting in the back of a long line of unknown pace was not for me. When something close enough to what I wanted came along at an MSRP dealer near me, I jumped on it.

I consider myself very lucky to not go through some of the stress others have gone through here. Hoping things work out soon for those of you in line.

I tried with espresso brown, but i just can't. it's too much. looks like someone just shat brown everywhere, steering wheel and all
I hear you, but the dash & steering wheel being brown is different and has a more subtle look. Keep in mind the floor and cargo area and 3rd row seat back are still black and the top half is the white color i believe. But still personal preference though, some will like and some will not (like those wheels lol) which i will learn to like I hope.

On another note, I cannot understand the majority wanting the Prestige pkg. The Telluride to me is one of the biggest bang for the buck vehicles out there, however i cant say that about the 2300 for the Prestige pkg. Maybe someone can justify that for me. It has to be the Nappa leather, but one if my pet peeves is the Nappa leather seats in a dark color. There is a ton more stitching because of the pattern of the seat and you can see the stitches which are white and I think it looks horrible, especially on the black leather. The rest of the upgrades are minor.

I’d be ocd about the suede patterns on the roof. Would drive me crazy. I’d end up brushing it every night

Prestige gets you heated and cooled second-row seats too....

It comes with HUD and Rain Sensing Wipers (I have them on my car and once you have them - you never want to do without both), heated and cooled second row seats, house hold plug and of course the upgraded leather and headliner. For these options - it is a bargain - especially if you are already getting AWD.

But of all those the HUD (Head up Display) has to be my biggest must have. I hate driving my wife's current car that doesn't have it. Again - once you have a HUD - you won't want a car without it.

I'm placing an order today at Crown Kia in Dublin Ohio. The sales manager indicated that there was an SX on their allocation that wasn't yet purchased (as fast as they go, it may already be by the time I post this...). Just in case this helps anyone. I don't know any details other than it it wasn't what I was ordering.

That HUD is sweet. The speed limit is on there too. Probably my favorite feature of the SX-P.

If the Prestige package was say $2500 and included painting the plastic exterior panels body color like the new Palisade calligraphy trim we'd be in. It just wasn't worth it to us needing car seats for the next 5yrs! Only would've liked the HUD.
And speaking of ocd, can anyone confirm that they put nappa leather on the third row? The difference in stitching pattern tells me no and messes with my ocd as well

I don't think so. But that is pretty common. Most manufacturers do not have the same quality leather in the third row as the 1st and 2nd row. Our Odyssey for example has leather in the first and second row and vinyl or "leatherette" as manufacturers like to call it these days in the third row.

I just let my kid look out the window and watch sights passing her by while we drive...

just like we all did as kids.
Trying to read goosebumps or play gameboy by the passing street lamp lights..

I wish they had an option to add memory on the seats on the EX. I would definitely pay for that as I hate adjusting my seat and finding the sweet spot again after my 5’2” wife uses it.

EX AWD is what you want to ask. As I understand it, from @StephenCantrelle and others, KFOS separates the allocations and the category you want to be concerned with is EX AWD.
Question, I ordered an EX FWD at a Colorado dealership that mostly gets AWDs. Do you think this would increase or decrease my wait time?

Agreed. This was one of our main reasons for getting the SX (yes, a big jump in price for a small but important feature), since we’re likely going to stay a single car household.

Sadly, I feel the same way. I saw a SX-P in person months ago and the suede headliner drove me mad, haha. And I’ve never once used the rear heated seats in my other cars and with two little ones, it wouldn’t happen in this bad boy either. I’d gladly take the hud and wipers but not worth it overall...for me at least.
