If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Order to delivery time

I’m back to ground zero. For the second time the dealership screws me up. After I paid a deposit Saturday on an allocated telluride that they said it’s for no one, and filled the credit application where they did a hard pull right away. I received a call today from sales manager to tell me somebody else has a deposit on it from last year! I told him that’s an allocated car with NE there is no way anybody can have a deposit on it. He didn’t know what to say he just tried to say someone has been waiting from last year. It looks like this someone is fine with any car. @StephenCantrelle is there anything I can do in this situation?

Damn. Wasn't Syracuse KIA was it?!! JerseySXP just got same run around.
Just troll them with negative, yet accurate reviews. Sorry to hear bout the credit pull too

Kia of Grand Blanc in Michigan!

Question, I ordered an EX FWD at a Colorado dealership that mostly gets AWDs. Do you think this would increase or decrease my wait time?

That is a great question and I am not positive on the answer. Perhaps someone else here can confirm.

You have got to be kidding me!!

A Nightfall edition as a sold ORDER!? That is not possible. Not even remotely. I don't care if they had it written on the back of a piece of paper somewhere...the order got sold out from under you just as mine did.

The hard credit check should piss you off more than anything else.

Put them on blast on Google and this forum - dealer bad experience...I plan on hitting up Yelp, BBB, etc too if they don't refund me my 1k deposit.

Feel your pain brother...

I think there are major politics at play at these dealerships...internal competition for sales at higher than MSRP...

that's why getting any deal at MSRP for a dealer allocation freaks me out because another salesperson can just say, "hey, owner-guy...I know someone willing to pay X amount over MSRP, can I make the deal?"

Dealers need to realize there is ALREADY a comfortable profit margin if they sell at MSRP...straight greed at play...

BS!

I already reviewed them on google. At the end of the day what’s the point! I just need my car. They f&$%ing take a deposit from you that you cant take back if you needed to, but they can screw you at anytime and you can do nothing about it. The sales working with me already gave me my interest rate and payments and all that bs already. I’m just sitting here handcuffed!

I would try contacting Kia directly? Not sure if that would do anything but maybe

It would do nothing had a bad experience with another dealer and filed a complaint to kia. Just a waste of time.

Yeah - these types of dealers are only making the current bad situation worse.

It’s killing me, it’s eating me from inside. There is nothing I can do! My credit score already dropped twice from these 2 dealers. Im gonna go under 750 by the time i get one. Im calling tomorrow to request my deposit at the moment. I dont wanna wait, that’s my money!

Tell them to send a hard copy of your credit history check - or at least a screenshot...

Don't let the next dealer run your credit history - send them the screenshot or PDF from the other dealer...and tell them straight up to send you a purchase agreement before running the credit history - @StephenCantrelle is that possible?

Damn $1500 is steep if its only a couple of plastic tablet holders, generic tablets and headphones rather than a dealer installed overhead unit! We'll see if they ever release this unlike the mythical front skid plate from last year. I still haven't seen one if those installed

wait, are these the “Telluride” plates upon entry from the 2 front doors?

mine is supposed to have those. Unless you’re talking about something different

Sounds doable to me

Yes I don’t know why they even need to run your credit in the first place. If someone tells me they are 720 plus I generally believe you have done the math already to know if you can afford the car., take deposit and be done.. that’s the point of non refundable deposit if things don’t work out dealer holds deposit for putting car to the side for you. But why run credit? Makes no sense to me.
