Order to delivery time

Feels like daily but I’m sure a couple times a week they move.. ETA currently showing 08-09 to Halleen

For those of you who have just got your orders into KFOS in the past week for SXP (non-nightfall).....what kind of ETAs are you getting? We are in a very sticky spot and trying to manage expectations...

Mine (SXP non nightfall) went in late last week - but I haven't got an ETA yet. As soon as @StephenCantrelle has that information for me - I will post here. Hope to get my first ETA this week sometime.

We ordered the same exact car as you- and yesterday we were in the middle of signing paperwork for a different car at a different dealer and our Kia guy text to say our Telly order went in yesterday(!)
Talk about ironic!!!
Had begun to lose faith in Kia after months of waiting and feeing like delays were stacking up-
We sold our second car to my godson in May thinking we would have the Telluride anytime.
Needless to say, we hit the brakes on the deal we were literally in the midst of signing and came home to sleep on it.
I actually really love the other car, and am leaning towards it based solely on comfort and availability— it gets big points for being available to drive home immediately though it’s also not a car that’s easy to find normally (not as hard to find as the Telly). We have a road trip set for next month for my 40th birthday and it would be SO nice not to have to do it in our current only car (a Toyota Camry Hybrid-so very little trunk space with that battery in there!) we won’t have the Telluride for that certainly no matter what.

Will we wait additional time for the Telluride if it’s reasonable? Maybe. But I can’t go another 4 months with no car. It went into KFOS yesterday so I’m thinking best case scenario is probably 60 days? I honesty don’t know. That’s why I asked the question here what others are seeing.

I do have guilt if we step out on the deal with Kia as we really love our Kia sales guy and know the deal means a lot to him too. If we don’t buy it, someone else will certainly but I’d like him to get the sale if possible. Our dissatisfaction with this process isn’t really about him at all.

Kia guy is going to try to have an ETA for us today which we agreed to wait to hear before making a final decision. The other dealer is holding the other car for us until today...

I placed my order on February 3rd. It is due in on April 19th. It was loaded onto the rail today. We shall see how long it tales to travel from Atlanta to Albuquerque via train and then transport to El Paso.

How are you able to track it ?? Please advise

Yes. Most likely. Many listed online will be pre-sold. Any many in Failcat. But, Donovan lists his unsold inventory in the Dealer Inventory section of the forum.

So last week I placed an order for a telluride. The dealership said they were allocated an ex or they were finally allowed to order it. Can’t remember exact words. Anyway, they called me to let me know they placed the order. ETA given was 3-4 months. Based off other people’s experience I think it might be longer than that.

Ask to see a screenshot and order number...few of us have been told the same thing without any supporting information...

We are walking away from our Telluride order. If anyone is interested in stepping in on it, let me know and I’ll give you my sales guy contact info. It’s located in the Chicago suburbs.
The order went into KFOS yesterday as priority 1 so the dealer is gettin the car either way. No ETA yet, I’m assuming they’ll have that info in a day or 2.
