Just got the call today - at long last! I ordered a gravity gray/black SX-P with tow hitch on 11/11/19; ETA is 10/18/20. 11 months and 1 week - this better be a great car!

Considering pulling the trigger on the SX Nightfall, but also considering waiting a bit longer and skipping the AWD / Nightfall and saving some $$$. All my conversations with the salesperson (different to you) have been great so far. Any tips when working with them?

It may have been you he was referring to, but I think he said they got an Oct 5 delivery date for one just ordered. I guess 10 weeks is pretty good?

I am really trying to juggle the 10 weeks vs unknown (but guessing another 8) vs saving and just getting the non AWD / Nightfall as mentioned

The only thing worse than waiting a couple extra months for delivery is overpaying for a vehicle you really didn’t want or need.

Excellent taste! I have the same thing ordered! My initial ETA is 09/13. There are several Gravity Gray SXP's in this latest batch. Will be interesting to see how many of us take delivery at about the same time.

I actually haven't even gotten an order number.. let alone a delivery date haha so my guess is my car will be here around November :/ hopefully sooner.. Working with them was fairly easy though.
The only complaint I have is the salesman I am working with is having "e-mail issues" which seems a little suspect to me (I wanted everything he told me in person down on paper just in case I get screwed over). Other than that, it was easy working with them. I actually have a "confirmation" that my order was placed, but no order number yet...

Exactly! I'd rather wait than pay extra... but if the wait is too long I might go ahead and purchase another vehicle :/ I have a toddler and another on the way.. A Honda Civic won't cut it for too long haha

The way I read the 2021 Product Reference Guide, NE is not available with silver in the EX

How is it that you can build EX + NE package online with ES. But then my dealer says it's not available in ES? How is it online they tell you what color you can choose with trim and packages but it's not the same for the dealer? It is what it is, but that is frustrating once you have your heart set on it and get told after you have already gave your dealer the order and you think you're getting it, to then turn around and find out you can't get it three week later!

Hi All!! Anyone have experience with how long it took for vehicle to arrive once it was "TRANSIT-TENDER" status. My dealer has the VIN ( 5XYP3DHC9MG100500 ) and was originally told ETA was 7/22 but then was told Monday that it was pushed back to 7/29. Does this mean the car is built and ready, just waiting for transport? Hoping it is here soon! I'm in Oklahoma. Thanks for your help!

Looks to be correct. See this info on available colors. You'd have to order an SX AWD. There is a "N/A on Black Edition" in the black interior EX AWD column. But, I don't know why you can build it online. The configurator has bugs. But, someone else may have another answer.

Anybody with knowledge, I see on my order I have TOF but I don't have TWJ. Does that mean my dealer put in the wrong code and I didn't get the tow package but instead just the tow hitch? Or is TOF different than TO? Once it's in KFOS can my dealer change to TWJ? I have an ETA in October so it would appear that the car hasn't been built yet as the order was just put in last week.

how is it these people are putting in their orders on June 4th and have a date in october already knowing its coming? I've been waiting since Jan 14th, and haven't heard squat.... how is this happening? is it the color? mine is black/copper.
Anyways, seems the ordering system is goofy. Or are the trucks just not making it to the west coast before getting hijacked by midwestern dealers...don't know...

I built a black on black Sx with prestige. I added lighting package, crossbars, mud flaps, self leveling tow package, floor mats and scuff plates. This order was placed on March 19th with a dealer. I placed a deposit. I never received ANY information! I was told at the time the order was placed that it would be 6-8 weeks. With Covid I certainly expected longer.
After stalking them over the past few weeks I finally got 2 VINS with window stickers and delivery date of 8/3
One is black on black, nightfall package with tow package and NOTHING else that I ordered. The other is Snow White Pearl with dune interior with nightfall package and prestige package and NOTHING else I ordered.
I will probably take the white but can’t wrap my brain around that interior or the fact that I’ll have to add crossbars and tow package out of my pocket because lord knows they can sell either in a matter of an hour If I complain. I feel like I sold my soul to the devil. I wish I didn’t love this dang car so much!!

Sounds like they never placed the order and want to sell you an incoming unit. There are dealers that will do that. Which dealer?

They gave me random dates here and there. I was told at one time it would be the end of the year. At least it’s a 2021...
Being that we live in Vermont we just don’t have options.

I'm going to reply to myself here because it was explained to me that the car is a 25 group which is Prestige and Towing so the TWJ isn't listed.

So my question then becomes does TOF have anything to do with towing or is it something completely different?
